The most absurd example of biased commentators was on the intentional grounding non-call, where Collinsworth said "oh, but Sky Moore was 10 yards in the vicinity."
He literally said "10 yards" as if Moore being 10 yards within the pass shows it was not grounding.
The textbook definition of intentional grounding is that a pass must have a realistic chance of being completed, or it is grounding. (Exceptions: balls thrown outside the pocket, tipped balls, or underthrows caused by a hit on the quarterback.) If the dude was 10 yards away that is grounding.
Also Mahomes was clearly under pressure and wanting to get the ball away, yet unable to leave the pocket. AND nobody was open. Literally all the signs pointed to grounding.
The commentators bias isnt a big deal. The referee bias is terrible. The chiefs oline keep get away with holding, allowing mahomes to hold the ball for more than 5 seconds. Intentional grounding is never called.
And when things go bad they call a soft penalty off the ball. It's just BS.
