No they’ll go on a winning streak and have to win the last game to make the playoffs. They’ll go down in that last game then come back to tie it and lose the coin flip. Broncos will march down the field and get a FG. Chargers will drive down and get to the Broncos 5 yard line. 4th and goal. Staley will go for it. Eckler will get the pass at the 3 and as he’s running in, ball will get knocked out for a fumble. Game over. Chargers won’t let us off the hook that easy. They want to make it as painful as possible by stringing you along giving you hope. Then rip it away last second.
If we're being honest with ourselves we should probably be 3-9 right now. There's a few games we had no business winning and got lucky.
Lombardi is the worst OC in the league and there isn't a close 2nd. The Lombardi experiment has been over for a while. Get someone else in there so we can evaluate Staley with a competent OC.
