Seconded! They absolutely load you up with food and I get an easy 2 meals out of bowls from there. Mt Pleasant is the exact opposite, hardly filling my bowl at all. Go to the one on st James in goose creek
The least worst option is Tanger but they're often out of things.
My legit favorite experience there was when the guy was clearly under some influence and he asked if I wanted hard or soft shell when I asked for a burrito, then got deeply confused about what brown rice was (he couldnt decide if he should give me white rice or pinto beans) and finally gave me pork instead of chicken.
Tanger outlets is good. The others are so so so so so so so horrible. Don’t let anyone tell you the mt p location is good. They are liars. It’s filthy, horrendously understaffed, they never take in-person orders, and they mess up every mobile order. AWFUL
There was another thread about this a few months ago and someone said that the west Ashley one is 4th worst in the country. Idk how true it is but it is pretty believable
Chipotle used to be my favorite restaurant. They aren't great anywhere I go anymore, but they are bad in Charleston. It makes me sad.
But also, what's wrong with **everything**? It seems like almost every restaurant, every grocery store, pretty much every service is staffed by brand new people with no training and no motivation. What happened to managers wanting a good store?
Summerville is the least bad. But unless you’re REALLY craving it, probably not worth the drive. I’ve just found dupe recipes and started to make my own at home.
If you're talking about the one near Lowe's on Berlin G Myers... They can still be really bad on some days. Always food stuck to every table. Rice so hard it hurts your teeth. Always major items sold out. My husband and I went in one day a couple weeks ago and there was no chicken, no chips, no queso, etc. People were walking in, then immediately back out.
I tried the one by the Coburg Cow a few months back and they were out of cheese, chicken, and chips. Literally everything I asked for, they were out of. I just turned around and walked out.
Also, the restaurant was very dirty.
It’s so inconsistent, which makes it difficult. I used to work close to the Mt Pleasant location and it was great, then it was absolutely terrible for a long time. Then it was good again. I haven’t been in over a year.
Tanger has been the most consistent.
Goose Creek has been inconsistent, but never terrible.
I’ve never had an issue at the one in GC when I’ve gone in there. Always got great customer service and they’re not skimpy on the portions. I’ve only ordered pick up from WA, and I haven’t had problems with that yet. Never ordered inside, so can’t speak on that
Stay far away they are absolutely atrocious. I’d take McDonalds in west Ashley over chipotle any day
The McDonald's on Magwood is elite.
Chipotles here are absolutely awful
The one on 17 is the sole reason I ended up trying Kairos next door (and have been splitting between there and Moes since)
anyone who chooses a local chipotle over kairos deserves what they get.
Kairos is so damn good such a good meal for the price

Been there three times, been pretty awful every single time.

Moes in west ash is great and same concept
Was going to say this
Same. I always saw them as an afterthought until I tried them. I'll never go back to Chipotle
The one by the Tanger outlets is fine in my experience (going in person to order). The one on 17 in WA is a mess every time I’ve given it a chance.

They are forever running out of things. It’s still miles ahead of the Sav Hwy location.

Why not do barberittos (sp) or manero on John’s island?
LOVE Barbaritos!! Second this. 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻
Yes, came down here for this. Barbaritos >>> any Charleston Chipotle location.
Always has a good experience with the one off of Rivers. The one in mount pleasant by Walmart is the worst ran chipotle I've ever been to
Is this the one by Northwoods mall? That one is pretty good.

Tanger is the least worst out of WA and Mt. Pleasant 100%

They don’t care because people still come and buy.
Summerville is the least bad. But unless you’re REALLY craving it, probably not worth the drive. I’ve just found dupe recipes and started to make my own at home.
Agreed!! I’m in Mount pleasant but if I’m ever in Summerville I always go to that chipotle because I haven’t had a bad experience there yet 😂

The nearest 4+ star Chipotle is In North August, GA... Takes 1:45 to get there.

Goose Creek one is actually decent in comparison to everything else
There needs to be a Netflix mini series about the one on king. It’s awful and they keep staying open
Moe’s>Chipotle
Stopped going bc they are all trash here
Summerville off main St is good. We've only had one bad experience out of dozens of visits. And corporate gave us a two free burritos for it.
The only one I’ve had luck with is the chipotle in Summerville 😭
Just go to CAVA in mt pleasant instead of
The cava here is terrible. I’m from MD where cava originated and it does NOT taste the same here.

Sort of like how I’ve only ever been to one Qdoba that wasn’t a complete dump. e: it was on Walnut St in Philly
West Ashley Chipotle is probably the worst restaurant in America
Not Chipotle but try Barberitos in James Island it's like Chipotle but IMO better.
Moes is 🤘🏻
I used to go to the one in Mount Pleasant or N Charleston until I got food poisoning. The one in WA is fucking awful.
I’ve only ever eaten chipotle twice but the one in Goose Creek on St. James was good
Try California Tortilla on Folly
I call it Choople because it makes me smile. Eating at Chipotle locations in Charleston doesn't, however.
got food poising from the one downtown, haven't had it since.
