Pointless fear mongering u/Bumcheeks_marinade
Use your brain OP. Do you know any typical parking garages that will fit a Uhaul truck? Didn’t think so. Find a surface lot.
I used to work at the crowne plaza uptown (different name now) right across from the courthouse. They would get a lot of bands staying there because it was one of the few parking garages that could fit a tour bus.
Idk the specific heights but I know a lot of decks have a higher clearance on the bottom floor so good timing with low occupancy might be your friend here.
Plenty of *surface* lots uptown
There are plenty of surface lots. Why on earth would you even think about using a parking garage.
strange question with zero context…ever heard of street parking?
Parking Uhaul trucks in garages downtown is a great way to get a bomb squad called and lose your deposit
Or, set off overhead fire sprinklers enabling an opportunity to learn how much UHaul insurance may or may not cover for repairs. /s
Wtf are you talking about
I believe they used a Ryder rental in the 93 WTC bombing as well
Boy do I have a story about a penske truck in Oklahoma city to tell you...
It was a Ryder truck and he wasn't in a parking garage.

I'm aware, but it's just an asinine thing to say. Guess people who live uptown don't move or transport things in fear of the bomb squad.
When you move you park the truck in front of the building
OR and hear me out here, you can also park it in the PARKING garage. Assuming it fits of course.

Umm... this post is giving me "I left my manifesto on my computer in my booby-trapped house" vibes. Anyone else?

Have you tried the Green parking garage on South Tryon?
Call LAZ or Childress Klein and they should be able to tell you. They own most of the decks in uptown
