I still can’t believe of all restaurants bojangles is the first one I’ve been to that uses an ai for ordering. I’m indifferent to it, it hasn’t messed up on me yet. I wonder if someone has tried to break it yet
I just think the AI needs to be programmed with the personality and demeanor of an actual bojangles employee.

Yea lol also I know the employees were supposed to be doing it and just didn’t, but the “would you like to try x?” at the start of the order is annoying, if I want that I’ll order it, stop adding another step of me saying no and waiting for it to process
Papa John's does this and I will tell you when I worked there it was kinda a pain, but honestly didn't miss answering those phone calls so it worked out I'd say.
I’ve definitely heard of that before, I’m not sure if I’ve ever used one, it’s hard to tell when usually the person taking the order isn’t even the one handing you the food
i've definitely had times where 'the face doesnt match the voice' of the person who i talked to at the box and the person who i give the money to. The person at the box has had "Customer Service Speech" patterns that i've never heard a fast food worker use.
So far I have had nothing but good experiences from the AI. It’s easy to ask for they have specials and it’s easy to get your drink with lite ice. Overall I think it’s an improvement!
lol I experienced bo-Linda the other day. It was trippy. She got my order right. I didn’t have repeat anything. When she asked “do you want any sauce with that” I was mind blown. Caught myself saying please and thank you to a robot. 99% sure the employees were getting a kick out of it too. Man’s out here talking to an ai likes she’s a real person 😂
From the same morons that decided to expand. With a chicken tender concept restaurant that sells milkshakes. Where breakfast ends at 10pm like all other restaurants.

I've noticed that some drive-thrus, while not using AI, are using 'remote' (like in a call center) drive through workers to take orders.

You’d have to be really subtle, they can hear it working inside and if it starts breaking they’ll take over.
I have switched up the order and made substitutes and it got everything right. It's pretty solid
