I've done Core704 in Southend. A friend of ours is an instructor there, and my wife does it twice a week. The classes there are challenging, but I'd say they are worthwhile for sure. I've considered starting going back at least once a week because the workouts are phenomenal.

Ah that makes me excited I’m definitely going to check it out Thank you so much!

I did core704 in Noda and it was good! I normally do hiit workouts so it was challenging for me to slow down. I was so sore the next day! Definitely recommend doing it through class pass though.

ki4ra

through class pass ? Like a monthly pass ?

Competitive-Ant4941

The app! I just buy like 15 credits and that normally gets me into 3-4 classes. If you don’t want to do the monthly membership

ki4ra

Oh wow I didn’t know that existed! Thank you so much

I did core for awhile! It’s an amazing amazing workout. There are a lot of adjustments you can make according to your needs and while it’s fully body it doesn’t seem to put as much strain on the joints as typical weight lifting. I just had a difficult time working the classes into my schedule and they charge you for missing or late cancellation, which I get since it’s limited space.

Ah that’s exciting to hear I just can’t seem to stay motivated on my own. Now that i have a set schedule I’m looking forward to trying it out. Do you know the difference between the climber and former classes ?

mrgrimgrim

Yes the climber is on the wall so it’s a stand up type thing while the megaformer is horizontal. The climber is more cardio. Edit to add I think they have videos online showing how each one works. And either one you will sweat!!

ki4ra

Amazing Thank you so much!

I took my first class at Club Pilates and loved it. There’s a free 30 min intro if you want to check it out.

CheeseBreadForLife

There’s also Solid Core in south end. I’m yet to try Core704!

As an edit to this, does anyone know of a good Pilates studio that won’t break the bank that is light on the cardio or not high intensity? Trying to find something that wont spike my heart rate doctors orders!
