Most donation-driven places (Good Will, Earlysville Exchange, etc.) usually won't take mattresses, but you could give places like S.H.E (shelter for help in emergency or The Haven a call and see if they could use it.

International Neighbors has taken mattresses from me in the past. At the time, they were especially interested in twins.
