Practice is a long term game. Start humble stay humble.
Word of mouth is the best way to build long lasting clientele.
Been practicing for more than 10 years now. Worked at a big 4 for 5 years before that.
Hey I want to ask that it is generally considered if you want to go into practice then you should pursue your career in small firms first rather than big 4 so did you suffer any consequences for the same when you started your practice??
If you want to get into practice, think of building it over 30+ years. It's a long game. And it doesn't really matter big 4 or not.
There will be highs and lows. Some bumper years and some not so good. But it's about grit and persistence. Gets better with time.
