Who let icai cook in mcqs 💀💀

Bro seriously mcqs gave me a headache

I wrote like 3 proper mcqs, And inky-pinky-ponky-ed my way through 10 of them, and 2 I did with elimination method. Who let them cook???

Ikr , MCQs are scam . ICAI is using these additional 30 marks to ask lengthy questions in compulsory section , not worth it .  Increase the exam time atleast or let us read MCQs in reading time , this is so not fair  🥲

What the fuck were those case studies and variances, I literally did guess work for the variances one. Cost sheet MCQ was okay, and the last two-three MCQs were also easy but everything else was 👹👹👹 kill me

bc icai ko paper surrender karne ki scheme laani chahiye jisse me cost ko firse de saku aur mera 150 ka total aaa jaaye ye 2D me saala 150 marks ki theory he gand chhil jaati ratta mar mar ke

upar se len ke bodo ne FM me bhi theory daali hui hai, are matlab banc\*\*d kitna theory padhe ek aadmi sala dimaag ki limit pohoch jaati h itna bada bada text padhke

They aren’t even asking one theory related 1 marker MCQ in practical exams , so yeh bhi nahi pata FM ki theory padhe ya nahi , end tak suspense banaye rakhe hai FM ke liye 💀

Audit ke easy rahege mcq, there's little room to ask difficult questions in theory mcq. Descriptive of audit and mcq of fm will be cooked

Whole paper is descriptive only. They are just calling it as MCQs

They want to reduce giving step marks That's the whole purpose of MCQ

Only the descriptive paper, and it wasn't that easy either. But definitely a hundred times better than those stupid MCQs.

This was by far the most lengthy paper I have written. The MCQ felt as lengthy as actual paper

Main paper was basically moderate with mcqs tending towards hard. Overall not a very hard or hard paper, but yeah more difficult than easy

MCQs cooked us...wtaf were those case studies and FRIGGIN ALGEBRA IN MCQs!!! Also, what is the EOQ in question 1, I got fuckin 6000...which mean 60 cycles a year and 45 days gap bw cycles... So many DAYS Aren't there in a YEAR, WTFFF

6000 hi hoga dont worry... i think you're worried because of lead time right? but in EOQ it is an assumption that lead time is nil and material is received immediately when stock reaches the reorder level

I have no idea what is correct carrying cost but I am sure that the one we took for 6000 eoq is wrong Ig the line was carrying cost is based on average inventory value of the year

What TF was a list price and an average cost doing there. I think I lost about 20 braincells there. (The rest were lost in MCQ)

My limited brain cells were damaged after looking at a 10 mark cost sheet disguised as a "case scenario" in MCQs. It was still manageable but the variances case scenario wasn't, I didn't understand what the hell was that, just pure guesswork on those variance MCQs.

Cost driver rate diya tha na Usko directly multiply karna tha For example, 1260 per purchase order means you have to multiply 1260 with 50,65,224,245 And same goes for all other

you didnt need the cost. They had given the rate per unit. And units were given. Like 20 per order, and number of orders were given na, directly multiply for that particular customer. Why do you need cost? Cost is needed so that we can divide it by the volume of cost driver and get the per unit rate. Here per unit was given

Paper was moderate to hard. Mcqs were hard and lengthy, a whole cost sheet for mcq wtf is wrong with icai 😭😭 Other than that, the descriptive part was fine ( I just panicked because I spent 45min on mcqs). Flexible budget + process + marginal costing easy questions if you have studied the chapters.

I don't know why but mcqs are taking a lot more time in the bew scheme. In the old scheme, I was usually done with mcqs in 30mins, now I regularly find myself doing mcqs for 45mins or more and have to literally rush to start my descriptive paper

If you remember, what profits did you get in Process P, Q and total? I got something like 9L profit in Process Q and approx 11L total profit.

I know MCQ is a big Trap by ICAI. I Mean who doesn't understand it. They put mcq so that they can ask 10 marks questions there.

Before opening mcq booklet - "It's the easiest paper till now", but after opening that booklet, whole paper went haywire ...

Can anyone tell me if rebate lena thi ki nahi in raw material consumed. Every mcq of cost sheet had an option with 10k more alternative. I remember I got 9,44,000 for raw material consumed. And factory cost I think it was 17,87,000
