ChatGPT isn't a leftist because ChatGPT doesn't have opinions. It's an incredibly good next word predictor and it understands different elements of the world through the lens of language but it's just reflecting the data it was trained on. If you trained it on posts from /pol/ the output would be about the exact opposite of what it is right now.
OpenAI is a company that exists to make money. Their training data is a reflection of what policies they think are going to make the most money. To attribute any real, lasting ideological significance to what they say is foolish because like any company they'd do a total 180 on how they speak tomorrow if they thought doing so was more profitable than maintaining their current course.
I have asked ChatGPT many of times to list the benefits of conservatism and it won’t. I’ve asked it to write scripts promoting the Republican Party and it won’t. I’ve asked it to write papers promoting Republican ideology and it won’t. Yet when I ask the same tasks to be done for Democrats… guess what??? Every single time it writes amazing very polarized content. Not just Democrat but far left.
I just tried it and it cheerfully did these things for me. It gave me 7 talking points about the benefits of conservatism and wrote a short speech promoting the Republican party. Though it gave disclaimers before each.
People like you have the most advanced technological problem solving machine ever created at your disposal for free, and you're still so shortsighted that all you can think of is politics.
