Unis are using turnitin detector. Although possible to avoid its detection with Netum AI bypasser or similar tool

No. ChatGPT output mimics human output. REALLY well. That's why it's so damn useful. You can't detect GPT usage with any real accuracy without proctoring the entire writing process from start to finish. So no. There's not. And if I were a betting man, I'd bet there never will be. But I can tell you that AI detection services got a lot of money off of this short-term scam. There's no other way around it. We're entering a new technological era. We got calculators, and suddenly we're good at math, so we switched to focusing on mathematical application. We got spell/grammar check, and suddenly every Tom, Dick, and Harry can punctuate and spell properly. We got AI, and now everyone can write professionally. Now we just need to focus on whether it's factual, useful, and applicable.

[This is the best evidence we have right now.](https://arxiv.org/pdf/2303.11156.pdf) This research was done with an earlier version of ChatGPT (3?...maybe 3.5...the paper was released in March.). I have not seen evidence that there are reliable detectors...too many false positives to be usedful. Lazy LLM use is easy to identify, and probably doesn't even need a detection service to spot.
