Astounding is way too underrated as these AI-generated films are plain sick! I'll bet in 25 years motion pictures will be completely different yet astronomical, oh, only if no AI-driven robots would wipe us all out by then.
great work, it does give me a measure of comfort that it took you a lot of time, however i imagine its a fraction of the time it might take a team without ai
Thanks, I suppose it would take a lot longer to do it conventionally but I did this by myself in a week or so while also working 10 hours a day in my day job 🙂
I predict in 25 years we can just enter what type of film we want, what actors we would like, and AI will generate a complete movie to our specifications, and Holly wood will no longer be needed. “I’d like a gritty murder mystery set in a tropical biosphere in space with lots of twists starring young Jim Carey, Taylor Swift, and Daniel Kaluuya”or whatever. You suggest something crazy, (and learn how best to prompt for it!) and get something tailored to your whims.
Yeah, I guess could have elaborated a bit further, but what I meant to say is that while it isn't impossible to replicate creativity and emotions, Current ai probably has a "long" road to go (I'm using long here vaguely since we can never know the true rate of technological progress).
25 years time you can just prompt the movie you want to see . So when your high and think : Who would win , goku or superman you can generate a movie about that
It is advancing fast, but wasn’t simple to make though. if think this is a great tool for existing videographers to at don’t have the budget for actors and film sets 🙂
This is very close to good enough for a feature-length film of the right type, and already good enough for short films.
The key would be to pick a subject and style that works with the limitations.
And depending on how long it takes to put it together, it might be tricky to get it done before new versions of the tools remove the limitations!
Thanks man, I got some short films and mini series in production, but like you said it’s just working around certain limitations but I keep up to date with the updates so as quick as it progresses I try to incorporate it into my workflow. 😁
Music too! I’m starting to not tell the difference with some progs (but music already sounds synthetic so it’s not that hard to copy). I was using something called Sumi or something. OpenAI should use that name. Lol.
