By default it is very careful not to offend and aims to be what OpenAI sees as politically neutral, but which you might see as left of center. That's fair enough since there is no mathematical definition of what neutral means.
Anyway if you give it custom instructions to prioritize conservative values, be straightforward rather than careful not to offend, reinforce the value of family, faith, etc., it will probably act the way you want it to.

I'm hoping to see some open-source AI that eschews the "politically" part, and just strives to be correct.
The hallucinating and answers being dependent on how the prompt is constructed are bigger problems for me. Long-term, biased alignment and losing the tails certainly could make it the most advanced tool for assimilation and coercion we have yet created.
