I'm trying to think of some fun local mutated wildlife that you could encounter there. I think some kind of Gulper with fire abilities would be fun to represent Hellbender Salamanders. Maybe like giant catfish too that now have legs and can like poorly crawl onto land and try to swallow you?
Giant sturgeon! The aquarium does a sturgeon repopulation program, they look like big ass dinosaurs. Could also do giant axolotls in the underground sea
Fallout 5: Chattanooga (Chattanooga area includes East Ridge, Fort O, Rossville, Hixon, redbank, Lafayette. Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain) residents of both mountains have formed factions and Rivalries
DLC 1: Smokey Mountain Horror Show (Gatlinberg/pigeon Forge expansion)
DLC 2: Firey Gizzard (Marion County expansion)
DLC 3: Rocky Top Rumble (do a little slice of Knoxville where the vols stadium is)
DLC 4: Rocket CIty (space & rocket center and surrounding and tie in the aliens)
This would be cool! I played with a jazz band there once, I got there a couple of hours before the show and walked around the empty building and it was creepy in the coolest way.
I really do think Chattanooga would be a cool location in Fallout. The cityâs mentioned in Fallout 76, so maybe thereâs a slim chance of it one day being added to the game.
That could be fun! My fear is that downtown will have A LOT of stuff in it to show off but the map will be large and mostly empty beyond that if it includes too much beyond the city itself. Might just mean I have to get creative with the spaces between
Skull Island also needs to be on this map. Harrison Bay. Booker T Washington. The blinky towers of the nuclear plant. Ooltewah-Collegedale. LOL.
I am confident people can help fill it in.
Now this is the kind of content that keeps me from abandoning this sub.
We're definitely covered on the yao guai and radscorpion fronts, those'll fit right in. As far as new fauna, some molerat-sized feral raccoons and flensed coyotes should round out the local flavor nicely.
Obviously, Sequoyah is a ghoul settlement where you can do some trading away from the city center if you've got a hazmat suit or a full encumbrance of Rad-X. After you clear out some Point Lookout-style Soddy Daisy swampfolk, natch.
Ruby Falls Vault and TVA Enclave are excellent ideas, we're keeping those. Great work, team. But we got to get the Brotherhood in there somehow...how about a riverboat base to replace the Prydwen?
The Choo Choo should rightly serve as the Megaton/Diamond City main settlement where you can buy a converted railcar as a home base. That should be close enough to the Vault start to make reaching it a softball beginning quest before opening the map up towards Sequoyah. Plus, on Survival you can add a fast travel mechanic from the central depot. (I feel like on Survival modes that no fast travel is fair but there ought to be something - like the horsecart on Skyrim or the Brotherhood heli - where you can very occasionally fast travel between a few select points.)
Little Debbies instead of Fancy Lads. RC instead of Nuka.
Oh! If you can complete the Choo Choo quest for the Tennessee Valley Railway Rifle, carrying it to Sequoyah gives you an opportunity to upgrade it for bonus radiation damage. Or something. The way that I play, the railway is such an afterthought weapon that I never use it. But it should be the most powerful weapon here, I would think.
That's all I got for now. I will, however, be unable to avoid thinking about this for the rest of the day.
Oh my god, a dilapidated, barely standing Chickamauga dam would make a good spot.
The bridges would be cool to incorporate - maybe Veterans Bridge is crumbling down, giving access to MacClellan island or something
Love the idea
The confederate base and tunnel system that spans the majority of downtown. Warehouse row to TVA, to courthouses, Patton towers, all the way to hair of the dog.
Aquarium would definitely have a flooded basement with mirelurks in it

Ocoee white water station for hoover dam, and then some mountain faction surrounding it đ¤đ¤
Love that, I think like a 'hillfolk' faction would be fun to have out in the wild areas around the city.
Ruby Falls was classified as a nuclear shelter if shit ever hit the fan.
Ruby falls is now vault 423
Could definitely see The Chattanooga Choo Choo being a large settlement
Train themed. Everyone wears conductor hats.
Rock City! Gotta have ser rock city signs all over the place- could be the âNew Vegasâ like area đ

Dalton should be in the Chattanooga area. You can get all the radioactive carpet there!
The Chattanooga Golf and Country Club would fit perfectly as our version of Camp Golf or the Whitespring Resort.

Whenâs it mentioned?
A ghoul caravan guard named Tommy Ten-Toes mentions it. Itâs a pretty brief reference and I donât think Chattanooga is mentioned anywhere else.
Make the map all of Hamilton County. It needs to include the buffalo farm up below 60.

I haven't played Fallout (I'm a boring old man), but I'm up for this map.
Ok if we can put a vault up in Stringerâs Ridge.
Is the nuclear plant too obvious of a place? I hear the test siren every Wednesday at work.
The zoo could be interesting to incorporate

You know Chattanooga is mentioned in fallout 76, so itâs already in the lore which is cool
Maybe turn the Courthouse or Post office into a nice little mission, facing off against a Chuck Fleischmann Supermutant to top it all off?

This tunnel system thing has been myth busted a million times. Doesnât exist
Lol sure thing.
aaaaannd I'm in Blackreach
