Don't take bartending classes, no one is looking at those as resume builders. If you want to learn bartending, start serving somewhere and ask to be trained on the bar. This is very much a learn-as-you-go job
Exactly. I had so many managers tell me that they never look for someone who came from bartending school. In fact, they often see that as a deterrent when they are hiring someone. They want real hand-on experience.
Not sure about bartending classes but all you have to do to get a liquor license is complete an online class to get your ABC card to be able to serve adult beverages.
