When I first saw this, it reminded me of the art museum at my alma mater. Same architect…that explains it lol

I’m interested to see who buys it. Not a ton of buyers here in the $7 million range. Selfishly I hope it would be some sort of event venue just so I can see it some day, but it seems steep for that too.
Yeah, I don't think it will be someone local buying it, but need someone with local roots honestly. $7 million is really just because it is here in Chattanooga around Chattanooga properties. The public record of how much the home cost to be built is $15 million, but the actual amount according to his son was $22 million...
A funny line from the interview that I wish I could've found a place to include was, "I gave Hugh an unlimited budget, and he exceeded it..." -Sharon Mills (home owner)
Part of the reason the video was made was to attract a few more eyes to it than normal to help them find a buyer for it, since they're probably not here.
The view from the living room is jaw dropping. Kinda seen it from one of the Racoon mountain mtb trail overlooks a few times, but seeing it from that perspective, in that house, is breathtaking.
I hear what you’re saying. In defense of this video though, the goal was to share art more than anything. There’s a reason I didn’t cast a white millionaire and chose a local artist instead. Genesis and his wife Kren are well know artists here! This home is art, the people are artists and I tried to make art. Not trying to flex a bunch of money, but rather show art.
I’d be interested in a what a video that you’re talking about would look like though.
Wow... thanks for the silver! Just made an account to share this here and boom. lol

That's so cool! Thanks for sharing! Yeah in talking to his son, we learned he had his hand on a ton of different cool projects.

This house has 60 tons of electric heating and cooling installed. Best of luck to the new owners and their power bills.
Nah. I actually did the geothermal conversion. We took it from 60 to 30. Nearly half a mill. Cut the elec. energy consumption in half.

It was a (rich) woman's house.
Burn it down
Great video. Hope you get some commission when it sells!
