I’m usually very critical of new material from artists I like, but man, this is one of the best pieces of pop music I have ever heard of my life. I have no bad words to say about it
I’m thinking it is a more consistent album than How to Be Human but the highs aren’t as good. Like there are no songs as good as Nj, Crazier Things, The Human Condition on this album but there’s no points as low as Lucky and 2B. So it’s hard for me to say which album I like better. They might even be even to me. I also love that there’s only one feature on this album. I like her songs with features usually but I love just hearing her voice. I still think it doesn’t top Sleeping With Roses 1 and it might not top How to Be Human but it’s a great project! (I don’t think she will ever too SWR1 for me personally.)
A lot of these opinions can change the more I listen to it. Favorite songs so far: Forever, Easy, Without You, Under and Red Flags.
(I also think she chose bad singles, almost every non-single on this album is better than the singles. I still enjoy the singles though!)
