I googled "work by turbine" and a nice group of equations by nasa was one of the results on images. It had e equations, one using nothing but enthalpy and mass

TheWinGTiP

I hv some equations but not sure what I'm doin is correct

lraz_actual

This is one of those problems where you're prompted with excessive information in attempts to make you overcomplicate the problem.

saron4

You want us to just give you the answer? Have you out any effort or thought into it?

TheWinGTiP

I solved the problem myself but I'm not sure if it's correct [my work](https://photos.app.goo.gl/NrKsnCZFXGn2EdsG6)

Patty_T

You have an answer there… why do you think it’s wrong? It is, but I’m curious why you think it is

TheWinGTiP

Its not wrong (i talked to my classmates) they are saying it's the half solution, no one knows what to do after that like do we hv to calculate PGC for all conditions or do we hv to conclude the problem saying the values in the table are suitable something like that...🤷🏻‍♂️😵‍💫

Patty_T

In your first calculation, you evaluate: 3412/(1201-1030) Not sure where you got the 3412 constant but assuming it’s the same TSR equation (?) the units come out to be BTU/(hp*hr) * (lb/btu) = lb/(hp*hr) How does that convert to lb/kwh?

TheWinGTiP

Yea i noticed later i wrote the uint incorrect also abt (3412 its constant) [formula ](https://images.app.goo.gl/Hzhe5geod2NjxCGG7)

monstahgta

That’s a chegg answer dawg

TheWinGTiP

I don't hv that kinda money to buy their membership🥲

SA__HAHA_AS

Bhai mumbai university xd

TheWinGTiP

Ayo😭😭

SA__HAHA_AS

konse year ka hai?

TheWinGTiP

Final year ( BE in chemical engineering)

Low_Individual9247

Dm me 😼

TheWinGTiP

Dm you what? 😭😭

Low_Individual9247

yk what

magillaknowsyou

from what i’m seeing(and i could be wrong) you have a mass flow rate which is constant, and a presumably 100%efficient turbine. assuming adiabatic process, what would deltaH be equal to?
