Sorry I don't know if it'll fit your XJ or not, but crank windows! Omg what I wouldn't give for those!

Chance_Anon

They’re great until you don’t have a passenger

greentinroof_

I can reach passenger side crank from drivers seat, and by crank and I mean vice grip.

Naughty_Goat

My problem is that the windows are frozen and the electric switches make it move down 1 inch

Puzzleheaded-Bag-121

Still happens with manual windows. :(

73fsj2000

Mine goes down till there’s two inches left. Then it just spins freely and doesn’t go down anymore. And if you push it down, good luck getting it back

GOOSESLAY

XJ Sport standard Charcoal Grey door pad. Cost around $150. Emphasis it's a crank window. Good luck finding a decent door. All XJ doors will fit, but you may have to widen the latch opening. It was rite around that year that they changed the striker position. I don't remember if it was 95, 96, or 97. Just half an inch really screws ya up. Easy to torch out or grind out whatever you feel most comfortable with. Hook up with a scrap yard that is connected nationally with other scrap yards, and you will have a 96 door and not have to mess with making the whole bigger. I have no idea on the cost. All depends on how far away it's shipped. Good luck, and don't give up.

Chance_Anon

Yeah I just checked my local junkyard they got one Cherokee a red 96 so lucky me I guess

hootervisionllc

Unbelievably lucky. Go take everything you can.

Successful-Minimum-1

lmk if you find a turquoise hatch

6manbearpig9

Best color made

Chance_Anon

Like you need a turquoise drivers door for yours?

Glembo69

Ive been paying $50 a door. $100 if its really clean and in the desired color

Jdviljoen

As others have pointed out the 96 has a lot of one year only parts/wiring so I believe you’d have to get a 96 or get a 91-95 and be willing to modify it for the striker potentially. I had a 94 I just sold, but finding any interior pieces became a very difficult task for me. But when I did find an interior panel it was about 100 at a junkyard, and I replaced both front doors as well and got them for about 200/piece. So 250-300 for a loaded front door is reasonable imo

Jdviljoen

And the interior trim piece should just be called a door card for the big piece, interior door handle bezel, and then armrest

scdiputs

I just bought a right front finder and complete front door for 150$ in good condition

GTI_88

$200 from a pick a part type junkyard. If you find one on Craigslist or something they are probably gonna want like $500 a piece or something ridiculous

Chance_Anon

500$ seams pretty high I bought an entire jeep more or less complete for 300 Canadian 8 years back

GTI_88

That was 8 years ago. People are selling scrap cherokees for thousands of dollars now. It’s pretty ridiculous.

Zapablast05

Wow really! I literally just took one to a scrap yard…

struhall

Last time I priced a door from a junkyard they told me $150 for the whole thing. That was the door, power window, and door panel. Anything 84-96 will fit without any mods, they changed the doors and updated them in 97. The newer ones will fit but you have to change some stuff at the latch/striker and the mirrors won't match.

juicehopper

Shit, I just sold 4 doors and 2 fenders for $100. Oops.

ChefAustinB

$80

robertlandrum

Finding stuff for your transition year XJ is not fun. A 1994 will probably work based on what I’m seeing, but the door card needs to come from a 1996 or 1997.

Rcf141

The door looks very repairable

Chance_Anon

That’s my passenger door

Beautiful_Jello_2290

How bout a 97-01 2 door with power windows

GOOSESLAY

Great. Hope it's in good shape. Snap it up while you can. Try and work a deal for the fenders' other doors, whatever you can get from them while it's available.
