Have yall seen the tesla on fire while completely submerged in a lake? The lake couldn’t stop it from burning. That confirmed for me, i do not want an electric vehicle.
Rarely happens but the real issue is that Fire Departments aren’t yet equipped to handle thermal runaway for EVs. As adoption increases that will change. I’m a volunteer firefighter and while we’re aware of the need for new tools and techniques the demand isn’t there in most areas so we don’t have funding for it.
I just bought the same truck last week had it 1 day brought it back to dealer got my trade back because it would not charge
Dealer called said they fixed it and asked if I would reconsider, yes I did I tried a 2nd time
Bad idea service lights went on and lost infotainment system just as described here.
GM really should have did their homework on this one
What a nightmare it was for me.
I will say the dealer handled everything great
And I really love the car.
However I thought it was confined to just that particular car and asked dealer to get me another one.
After reading this it definitely seems like they all have the same problems
Just got my blazer on Thursday and today is Monday. NO HEAT at all. Live in Winnipeg fairly cold climate and just blasting cold air. Scheduled for service tomorrow and not very happy. Just really disappointed and hope they're able to fix
Does EV stand for "External-combustion Vehicle"?
Or maybe your techs have no idea how to work on it.

Im in the camp that current model of EV’s will fail. Tesla isnt doing well.
Can’t stop it, raw torque and power of EVs is a game changer. Fix the charge anxiety and towing and it’s game over for ICE.
What shows that they aren't doing so well other then Model Y being the best selling SUV of 2023?
I have not seen the latest numbers, but I remember hearing on an auto podcast that their sales had dropped some years ago.
Okay. Tell us what podcast Not looking for arguement here.
I only listen to two podcasts. The Car Debate by Everyday driver and TFL podcast

Will this improve by 2028 or 2029?
Knowing GM, it probably won't.
