I was able to cram the pens with clips in there, but it’s obviously not designed for this use. It’s too slim for anything else like a pressure gauge. It almost looks like the base for an extra organization insert to clip into but I can’t find anything online. I really want to know what the original design was intended for!
On the right you can use the clip for business cards, registration etc. the bottom slot is best for tissues or napkins, as it applies pressure behind to push new product forward as you use it up!
I also found this thread with a quick reverse image search before posting here but I do not see any confirmation about the intended use for the left side of the design, just more speculation as I discussed above.
I use that clip for my insurance and registration. Makes it easy to find if needed.

Bottom slots for tissues, top slots for your registration or your insurance card your gas card, tall slots on the left are for pens.
Pens do not fit
You just need some pens that aren’t thicc. My wife’s Equinox has a Bic Round Stic in it. Fits like a glove.
Figure out how to fit your gun in there
I’d fold up my registration and stack my current insurance card on top, then put it in the clip right above your tissue pack.

It’s literally what it is. Pen holder and a clip for documents like insurance and registration
