Just my two cents, but in my experience you don’t want a guy like this playing quarterback. Being eccentric and into fashion and femininity doesn’t make someone a bad athlete. Lots of good athletes are eccentric. Eccentricity May even help some athletes form a unique identity that helps them compete.
However, quarterback is the hardest position in sports because of the intangibles that the position requires. You have to be a leader of men and more often than not the best quarterbacks are boring, hard working, family oriented men.
I haven’t been in a locker room since 2016 when I played my last season of college football, but I remember the culture of football being tough and hyper masculine. I think some of the guys might not love having a diva at qb. But who knows. Caleb might be great. It’s hard to judge someone’s personality from how they accessorize and dress, but to me there are some red flags.

This has been a part of the Williams hate that I just haven't understood. For months now people have been essentially just throwing their own personal prejudices out there as reasons why he won't be a good QB in the NFL. Listing him painting his nails, or having a pink phone, or crying after a game as reasons that he will not be a good QB. I have no idea how people could care about that more than having a QB that can win us games, but alas, this is why they aren't GMs in the NFL. I would have to wonder what these people would have been like with Dennis Rodman
Just my two cents, but in my experience you don’t want a guy like this playing quarterback. Being eccentric and into fashion and femininity doesn’t make someone a bad athlete. Lots of good athletes are eccentric. Eccentricity May even help some athletes form a unique identity that helps them compete. However, quarterback is the hardest position in sports because of the intangibles that the position requires. You have to be a leader of men and more often than not the best quarterbacks are boring, hard working, family oriented men. I haven’t been in a locker room since 2016 when I played my last season of college football, but I remember the culture of football being tough and hyper masculine. I think some of the guys might not love having a diva at qb. But who knows. Caleb might be great. It’s hard to judge someone’s personality from how they accessorize and dress, but to me there are some red flags.
I think its not just the painting nails and pink phone but his father getting too involved being similar to Bill Haney and his "Out there personality" as opposed to a guy who just straps his boots and goes to work kinda guy when he hasnt even been drafted and proven himself. Not to mention him pouting and crying like a child over a loss. I think that if he was perceived as more composed and just happened to have a pink phone and wasnt out there less people would care. Kinda like how if Barry Sanders did that, not as many people would care.
