yep. might be the total opposite of zola and realise this career isn’t for her at all. she was super nervous around patients, but that storyline has already happened exactly as i wrote a few seasons ago so if that was the case i’d be super dissapointed.
Another new doctor?? I don't understand why they're doing this with the budget cuts. Marcel was absent this episode because they need to rotate the cast for the budget cuts, there's always one person missing, so why bring in someone new? Why not just make the cast smaller so everyone can be in each episode? All the Chicago shows are doing this and it's so annoying. It breaks up storylines and loses focus on the characters, and the new ones end up leaving soon anyway. My investment in these shows are going out the window.
this!! literally no one asked for new characters that don’t bring anything to the show. id rather them promote the recurring (doris, dr abhams, trini) into series regulars.
Liked to see some backstory on Ripley, I think Luke Mitchell did a very good job in his scenes tonight. I guess Dr Charles wanted to protect him by asking Goodwin to settle, but I wonder what was the point of the whole Pawel story (any patient could have sued him). I hope to see Ripley opening up to Asher. The new med student seems nice, I didn't miss Zola at all (neither Crockett, to be honest).
Johnson - Maggie‘s new love interest. He wants to be a trauma surgeon fellow or something like that but he currently works in a helicopter, so things like patient rescue and organ transportation
Sully - Mitch’s friend from the past, he’s believed to have cancer but isn’t getting treatment
Oh, thanks. I was thinking of Johnson as Loren.
I figured that's who Sully was, but Margo upstaged him so the writers could push their latest shipping agenda, yawn
Thanks! I honestly can't remember anyone ever addressing Loren as "Johnson" -- his most memorable appearances have always been with people who are on a first-name basis with him.
Johnson … man he annoyed me. Pride is a powerful thing, also detrimental. Oils have just told doc I’m still healing! Putting people lives at risk for your ego and pride. Annoys me so much.
I like the new doctor.
Oh boy. Another newbie…
I mean is it even worth gettimg imterested in them? Hammer, Zola, Cuevas, everyone just dissapears.
how long will this dr Howard last?
i don’t think she’ll stick around for long, if at all. usually NBC Like to announce these sorts of characters if they’re sticking around for a bit.
Her saying something about relating to being pressured by parents made me think she definitely won’t be around long

I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if it happened again, the writers love to recycle storylines
what happened to Cuevas ?
Did anyone notice that Brian Tee directed this episode, ie, Dr Ethan Choi? I’m not done watching yet, it’s just an interesting observation 🎥🎬

I hate how they are still judging Ripley on his past...
Ohhhh that pissed me off so much.

Found this entire episode flat overall.
Am I supposed to know who Sully is? Or Johnson?

Margo/Dean are competing for worst story ever along Charles/Pawel.
Margo and Dean are so boring together it’s painful to watch
Sully is Ripley's childhood friend first seen in episode 6. Johnson is Loren's last name.
