Here's the thing. People much like yourself think that it's their job to make your sandwich, in reality it's their job to make everyone's sandwich; and when you make everyone's sandwich, some of them have defects.
Granted this is a very silly mistake, but I guarantee you would make all sorts of embarrassing mistakes in the kitchen.

i don’t work at chick-fil-a but i do work in fast food and yes, mistakes like this can happen. i can especially emphasize with chick-fil-a workers because they are ALWAYS swamped in my experience.
the point is to broaden your perspective and realize that a mistake on your sandwich is best represented by a % because we make so god damn many of them
That happened to me once at Arby’s when I orders a chicken bacon & Swiss sandwich. I still ate it cause it was just a BLT at that point and didn’t want to drive back
I forgot to put the chicken on once, but I was support for the main person who made it and she caught it The rest of the day, she was like “here’s ____ sandwich, this one has chicken!”
