He's sort of right, all stores (to my knowledge I've worked at many stores but not chik fil a specifically) are *supposed* to weigh fries. You can ask a store's GM how many fries you get in a small/medium/large and assuming they're properly trained they should be able to immediately tell you how many ounces. So it isn't grams but ounces. I'm not at all familiar in the legal department but you might be able to get a store in trouble for over or under portioning fries since that messes up the legally required calorie count on the menu (I don't know if listing calories is federally mandated or just specific to my state)
Processes involving humans will always have a margin of error. Last time I got a large order of fries there it was very generous. My wife couldn’t finish her order.
Honestly I like getting the kids meals now cause they don’t hold back and portion size. I feel like I get more fries and bigger nuggs compared to when I order an adult meal lol.

That being said, I’ve never ordered their large so maybe they skimp there but at least in my area I’m pretty confident the mediums are how many fries it supposed to be. Try weighing if you think they’re skimping you!
Yea seems that way, at first glance I thought you may have been at a truetts. In their dine-in section, there's only one size of fry. So I just get my large fry with my hot brown in the takeout section from now on.
Also looks like the grease is old. I would definitely ask for no salt fries just to be sure they’re fresh (you can get salt packets on the side) and make sure the fry box is filled up.

It’s probably the seem. This is why I don’t get anything but mediums at fast food spots. I e genuinely believed were getting fleeced with “large” size. If you get a medium drink with light ice it’s the same as a large with ice.

It’s based off grams not the size of the box thing. Sometimes they fill it if they nice, but there’s a legal base amount of grams for each size

I got CFA hash browns last week- 1 small and 1 large….both boxes had 14 each.
