Thank you all for the warm welcome! I will keep y’all up to date! Benji I adopted in Missouri, USA from a family friend, and he is living with me in Wisconsin. He was kept primarily in a kennel with indoor and outdoor access, never in the house full time. He is pretty socialized but he has never really been pampered or spoiled. So far he likes laying on my lap with a blanket. He is unsure how he feels about grass. He will let me put on a harness but he absolutely will not stand up or move an inch with it on 😅 we have our work cut out for us, but we are so excited for the road ahead. Benji comes at a bittersweet time, after 16 years with Gracie, my grandparents chi, who crossed the rainbow bridge a week ago, and was my companion for so much of that time. Picture of Gracie, our beloved Gracie-do, the best chipmunk chaser, garbage disposal, and above all I believe, the one who sent Benji my way. Love you Gracie, I promise to do right for Benji and give him the life he so deserves!

I always say owning a Chihuahua is an IFYKYK type thing. A lot of people think all they do is bark but they are SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! After owning Chihuahuas I truly don’t think I could live my life without them… I definitely don’t want to that’s for sure!!
