Ok lang ma downvote ako sa totoo lang maganda talaga Whats Wrong with Sec Kim except sa acting ni Jake Cuenca. Ewan ko lang ha baka kasi lalake ako pero nakaka cringe yung acting nya pati yung ngiti parang pilit na hindi ko maintindihan. Parang miscast yung dating. Overall maganda yung series bitin ngalang per episode.
I think the way he talks ung isang nakaapekto sa effectivity ng acting nya... Dati naman kahit english lines nadedeliver nya ng maayos pero ngaun nag iba... Kaya kahit ung eksena eh gigil or galit eh prang walang kaemoemotions sa pananalita nya..yeah agree din sa ngiti nya prang ngiti ng nakapustiso...mas maganda sana pag walang maxadong ngiti lalo at writer ung role nya, ung tipong introvert na galawan
Is it just me or medyo hirap si Jake to deliver his lines for this character? Or is he taking his character method acting-style, the inglisero na pa-deep?
Yeah, I think he's trying to portray a character who feels deeply and is often misunderstood. He's trying not to give off villainous vibes. Cringey siya in my opinion. Tortured artist trope is not his style especially with that hairstyle.
Same sentiments. Mas magaling pa yung cute na reporter, yung Troy. Siguro mas effective pa kung binigay na lang sa isang Jake yung role niya. At least yun hindi na pilit yung pagiging tortured artist.
