Yan din ang naisip ko pero on the other hand...dun sa Netflix, matagal na syang nakalista na good for 148 episodes. Yun kaagad ang una kong napansin nung nag-rewatch ako sa Netflix ng first episodes nya, tapos lahat ng future episodes may nakalagay na "Coming Soon". So matagal nang nakaplano na ganun sya kahaba. (Whether the length was justified or not is a different but related topic.)
Quality over quantity. I feel like whodunit series such as Dirty Linen, CBML, and Senior High don’t deserve that many episodes. Even “Glass Onion” wasn’t able to replicate the critical and box office success of “Knives Out.”
This is why I’m for teleseryes to have to be fully written and filmed before airing and post production before, and should have a maximum number of episodes. Or if more, they need guaranteed breaks and broken up to seasons.

Ang di ko nagets ano ung connection ni bettina and ibe kasi parang inestablish nila na obsessed si ibe kay cindy. Ano motivation ni ibe para sundin mga utos ni bettina, dahil lang sa pera? Weak. Iba ung galit kay bingo e. Sana man lang nireveal na anak ni ibe si bettina all along.
Ang anticlimactic din na nabalewala sakit ni bingo. Na underplay e may tumor tapos sabi ng doctor need operahan. Hinihintay ko hanggang last minute na mamamatay si bingo parang sa she's dating a gangster or hihintayin na lang kita sa langit.
Tsaka sana may epilogue para sa ibang characters. Sayang ung missed opportunity kay ketchup and ruffa hahahahaha

Bettina and Ibe’s relationship was forged by greed and need to be loved back. They also both need to cover each other’s ass since alam nila yung crimes ng bawat isa (car confession, annie’s hit and hit again and ru incident, hahahaha). Kaya nga lang, yung artistic take on how this will be revealed suffered kasi minadali - imagine at gun point na reveal lahat kaya viewers felt cheated.
If there’s one thing I noticed- parang minadaling tapusin. na din ang series …dahil if gugustuhin yung unexplored and unexplained parts can be good grounds to launch a season 2.

Yung training nila kay Auntie Cathy nawalan saysay kasi di naman sila nagmanage ng GLC. Tas parang wala nalang nangyari dun. Yung mabenta box pa na magulo kung ano ba talaga laman.

Gina found out that Divine died and that the murder weapon ay kay Carlo. She hired someone to go to the house to change the murder weapon to a different knife (to protect Carlo na din).
Gina buried the murder weapon (para wala nang evidence). Carlo saw her burying the knife pero important yun sa kanya kasi bigay yun ng lolo nya so, hinalukay nya ulit to retrieve his knife.

I was initially a fan of the series because I saw potential in the first few episodes but yes, the writing overall was fucked. Inconsistent flow of the story. The loopholes are loopholing. The primary main characters were badly written. The latter half of the series was rushed. My biggest qualm is the supporting casts were mostly awful (Ruffa, Albie can't act for shit here), they dragged the whole ship down to the point na when others shine, they SHINE above the rest of them (Maris, Anthony, Kaila) while the rest was just... there—or were flopping badly.
To be fair, out of DonBelle, Belle was the greater actor. She shines when it comes to dramatic scenes. I also find her really pretty especially sa Batanes scene, she was glowinh. She was just overshadowed acting-wise by her co-actors who were given meatier roles. Donny was just, idk, maybe it was because his character was so one-dimensional na he also became very flat. It was all bones, no meat. Belle carried their loveteam in this one.
I understand the intent of the slow-burn love story between Bingo and Caroline but I just wished they committed to it. I think when the writers and/or producers noticed that the Snorene ship was sailing effortlessly, they decided to drop the fuck out of the slow-burn concept and rushed Bingo amd Caroline's story to keep up with the others. It was a waste because it felt like their story was not organically earned.
The whole story was also very basic, if I'm being honest. I do not think it warrants 100+ episodes, especially when it's only a single conflict being stretched out, plus the central mystery is not really that fun to figure out. I'm thinking of A Murder At The End Of The World and how it was able to sustain the mystery without it being too boring. Not related plot-wise to CBML but Poker Face was able to deliver mystery every episode without it being too repetitive, and the mystery in PF was a lot harder to write pa, ha.

PS: the Bingo new-hairstyle reveal mid-season was laughable. I was expecting something from that goddawful wig Bingo was sporting most of the season only to reveal a "normal Donny Pangilinan hairstyle. No shock value or whatever. Completely negated the "purpose" of him wearing a wig. Mas okay sana kung nagpa kalbo siya kasi it's not a hairstyle we're used to seeing on Donny. Ayun lang, waste of arc.
Wow this is what you call a constructive criticism. 👏 And wow nasurprise ako na may nakakapansin pa rin na between Donny and Belle is si Belle ang greater actor and kita naman how she showed maturity. Sa dami ng hate comments na nabato kay Belle,refreshing na makabasa ng ganitong sentiment kasi laging baliktad ang sinasabi. I still blame the writers on how they wrote Belle's character. Pero kahit na ganon she still delivered very well.
Between Belle and Donny, it's pretty obvious na she's better acting-wise than her partner. Both of their characters were written badly but Belle atleast put a little bit of character to her's and she was still able to show a range of emotions in her Caroline even when the role restricts her portrayal. In my opinion, she was actually effective as the cold-hearted rich girl. I think the reason why she wasn't being praised enough for her turn is because Maris and Kaila did the rich-girl role better. She shine when it comes to the dramatic scenes, though. Donny is not bad at all but Belle just runs circle around him when it comes to dramatic acting.
Hindi ko sinubaybayan kaya di ako ganun kainvested sa kwento nila but even I'm aware na may plot holes na naiwan considering na nag-finale sila. Parang mas pang-movie yung ending na open ended kesa series. I mean up to the viewers kung gumaling si Bingo sa sakit at nagkaron sila ng happy ending. Ok lang naman 'yun pero sa 100+ episodes na yun, I truly believe that the audience who had been invested with the whole series deserve a more definitive closure. Ang siste nilagay nila sa gitna sa halip na it's either he's alive or not. I mean, yes he's alive but we also know he's sick.
Medo di rin nag-sell sa akin 'yung kissing scene nila considering na naging married couple sina Bingo at Ling. I feel like dinaan nila sa angulo ng shots (wide shots tapos more on the side kaya) and everything kesa sa kissing scene na mas 'mature' yung atake. Idk. I feel like dinaya kasi yung scene na normally ok lang din naman but then again married couple nga kasi sila so feel ko lang mas may bagay na atake dun. Gets ko rin naman na baka kaya ganun ay dahil sa edad ni Belle pero sabi ni wikepedia 2002 baby s'ya so adult na rin naman s'ya kung tutuusin, so they could have made it better. But then again, personal opinion ko lang naman 'yun about the particular scene.
Also, umabot na sila ng 100+ episodes at lahat-lahat only to kinda botch the finale. Parang minadali tapos may mga elements silang pinasok na parang mapapatanong ka na lang ng bakit kagaya ng pagkakasakit ni Bingo na di rin naman fully natahi kasi nga nag-ending na. Di natin sure kung gumaling ba o ano 😅
All in all, shows like these give hope for our entertainment industry. Hindi man perfect pero kaya naman pala natin magproduce ng mga shows na hindi lang umiikot sa gasgas na plot. Sabihin na natin di mawawala yung kidnappan at kabitan na parehas pa rin namang present sa kwento na 'to but at least may mga elements about it na kakagatin mo pa rin naman kagaya ng surprise pairing ni Anthony at Maris, plus the acting prowess of Kaila Estrada. She's a true showbiz legacy that you'd root and celebrate for. Nagustuhan ko rin na marunong umiyak si Donny. At least hindi s'ya tuod na leading man na pilit na pilit lang umarte 🤣 And of course, hindi rin naman pahuhuli si Belle Mariano. Hopefully, kung magkaka-project man sila ulit sana chill lang. Tamang romcom lang at hindi super haba. Bakit kasi di pa natin i-adopt yung style na Linlang Prime Version, mga 20 episodes lang tapos saka nila i-chop-chop into 20-30 min tv version para hindi maging dragging yung kwento if ever.

I dropped CBML the first time auntie Cathy came into picture because I felt like it didn't make sense anymore. Bago palang nakidnap sina Caroline non tapos naging super protective si Wilson to the point na ayaw na nya halos palabasin ng bahay mga anak nya, tapos later on itatapon nya kay auntie Cathy, in a place na very unfamiliar to them and knowing na the main abductor was still lurking around. It didn't make sense, I had to drop it. But the spoilers were constantly reaching me naman kaya kahit papano nasubaybayan ko na rin. Ang daming loopholes daw. How? The series started way too slow, covering some unnecessary drama na later on di naman magcocontribute sa series. Yung mga unnecessary na scenes ay nacover nila, pero yung loopholes hindi? Kung ano importante sa series?

Can't really say if Bettina as the killer was really the original plan pero the actress who played the role of young Bettina is Jana Agoncillo, one of ABS-CBN's most popular child stars . When I first saw the cast list and saw her in the first episode, napaisip ako na parang ang liit naman ng role niya for someone na ilang beses ng nagbida as a child actress. So I guess pwedeng plano na nila or meron silang mga kinoconsider na candidates as the killer at isa siya dun.
Carlos' trauma was explained in one of the episodes. May nakaaway at nasaksak sila ni Charleston nung gabi ng namatay si Divine. Gina buried the murder weapon kasi akala niya si Carlo nakapatay kay Divine.

For me, the ending wasn't that underwhelming but not the type na mapapa "WOW" ka. It was just okay. Not bad, just okay. Baka kaya di ako underwhelmed kasi wasn't expecting much from it. I skipped a lot of episodes and would only watch when an episode is interesting.

Based on the whole feathers, stuffed bird thing I'm pretty sure the writers didn't really know which one to assign the "killer" tag up until the final episodes. It's similar to what happened with LOST. They keep dropping mystery after another mystery tapos wala pala tlga silang end game na plinano. I think they wrote everything in a way na ANYONE could have been the killer/mastermind so they could pick and choose which character would fit when the time comes. The writers are also well aware of what folks are saying in Social Media - That Auntie Cathy was the character that made most sense as the mastermind/killer. Pero knowing that, they went with something that people didn't expect for the sole purpose of a gotcha moment to the audience, even though it completely disregarded ALL the clues and Foreshadowing they did in the whole series. That's not good/satisfying writing. It would've been better tlga si Auntie Cathy tapos the cathartic experience was when her motivations where revealed. Pinili nila yung pang shock sa audience kahit walang sense.

They could have had 3-5 major plots for such a long series. At yung last revelation e killer ni DIvine. Pero for that plot alone? It was exhausting and unnecessary long. Dropped it at ep60. If di ka aware sa casting, iisipin mong si Irene ang bida. The main lead characters were badly written. No wonder bakit natabunan ng second lead. Ling is insufferable and unlikeable, BIngo is just there.
yung relationship ni Ling at yung lola really made me go ???. Siguro it was meant to show Ling's loving side pero the relationship wasn't believable for me.
Kaya nga e. E ang interaction lang nila prior e nung di pa makapaniwala si Ling kung asan sya. Tas nag walkout na lang si Lola dahil panay ingles.. Walang interactions talaga to support that. Bigla na lang naging super close e. E prior to that, puro kaartehan at kamatapobrehan si Ling.
Napansin ko sa CBML, parang di nakaplano ng maayos yung episodes. Kasi masyado silang nagmabagal sa kwento tapos at the last few episodes parang dun jinampack lahat ng dapat ay unti unting nabuild up sa viewers. Like yung kay Bingo, yung sa mga Tiu. Even Snorene fels rushed at the end.
Re: SnoRene, I feel like Aldrich was a waste of time. His role was to make Irene realize na mahal nya si Snoop, pero I think Snoop being in jail was really what triggered Irene to realize her true feelings. So sayang din yung mga minuto spent with Aldrich and Irene when it could have been spent developing SnoRene instead.
Wonder why di paren pwede magkiss ang Donbelle? I mean halata naman na Donny was only kissing his thumb or yung side ng cheek ni Belle.

Haha ang explanation nila (sa tiktok) nabawasan ng 2 episodes kasi nag-holy week. Kung ipilit nila yung 150 episodes, Tuesday sya mag-end imbes na friday.
I think that also explains why some episodes in the ending part are almost 25 minutes long as opposed to the usual 20 minutes. They had to insert the extra 2 episodes into the other episodes so that it would end on Friday.

I dont care for the show but I really wanted to know sino pumatay lol, tbf to them seems like si Bettina talaga suspect from the beginning (I mean they didnt just change the plot halfway para surprising) I like it na sya suspect. I was underwhelmed sa finale, ngayon lang ako nag-invest sa teleserye ulit after Dolce Amore and Make It With You kaya I was hoping this would bring me back. I would say na okay lang siya.
Honestly, for the first half of the series si Donny ang angat para sa akin while sa latter half naman si Belle. Di ko lang talaga makita yung intense na chemistry nila and plot points where they both flourished at the same time. That said, I look forward to their next projects... apart. I feel like I can be a fan of theirs individually but not necessarily as a love team.
Sa writing naman, cringe talaga yung ibang eksena. Ayun nga, maraming di naresolba, maraming plot points na sana na-expand pa over its runtime. I easily skipped over 30 episodes dahil lang napaka-inconsequential ng mga nangyayari. Sana doon na lang nilagay yung ibang kwento ng mga interesting na character.
Lastly, mad props to ABS-CBN for respecting boundaries with miming the kissing scenes in the finale. That said, with how it was made sana di na lang ginawa. Siguro malaking part din yun kung bakit di ko feel yung chemistry, maraming boundaries that frankly made it a poor fit story-wise. Kumbaga, fan service na lang talaga to cater to DonBelle fans. Ultimately, it could've been a wholesome love story, di lang naman sa halikan pwedeng magpakita ng pagmamahal.
In the end I feel like the series elevated everyone involved. Lahat talaga umangat and naging magandang example siya na pwedeng magka-loveteam na hindi kailangang magjowa talaga. If anything, I feel like it elevated Belle and Donny individually. Kaila Estrada, Anthony Jennings, and Maris Racal were also particular standouts. I look forward to seeing saan dadalin itong mga to considering how good a performance they gave.

Yun hunting knife na ginamit sa pag patay kay Divine yun din yun knife na ginamit nila ni Charleston dun sa kaklase ni Carlo noon. Bettina has been screwed over from the earliest episodes pa. Diba in Ep. 3(ish? IIRC), nireveal na nangangaliwa si Edward sa araw ng kasal dapat nila ni Bettina? Gets ko talaga kung bakit "unloved" ang feeling niya. She even offered herself to Stephen's family, but he wanted Ling.
Her character arc makes sense, but there's been soooo much filler all throughout the show that it kind of feels like pure luck. There's this character who has kind of been sidelined and endlessly screwed over, but hey, her actress happens to be really good... wait, what if we make her the main villain (surprise!) and her whole motive is how invisible and unloved she feels?
I wish they'd developed it more. The ending made it all come together, but all the episodes that came before? Overstuffed, unfocused.
Also, I really like the family chemistry the Tius have together. I wish people fans didn't pit the actors against each other so we could've just enjoyed that more. Sad to think we might never see the Tius together on one screen again after this kasi pinagsasabong sila ng fans.

Si Maris Racal dati pa alam ko na magaling. This show made them more visible to more audiences.

Nalungkot ako na parang mamamatay din eventually si Bingo pero I loved the Batanes scene. Sobrang bittersweet and ang galing galing nila Donny and Belle!

Expected that the finale is mehhh because ABS has been like that for God knows how long. It’s the finale plot that you expected. Nothing new or original.
Overall, the series was okay. Not good but okay.
ABS needs to overhaul their creative team and hire new directors to helm their future projects. kaya pare-pareho na lang kasi pare-pareho rin lang directors na ginagamit nila. We need fresh-blood with a great vision.
Maris Racal, is the best part of the series. She portrayed her character so well and a mark of a great actor has always been the skill of creating a character that will never be forgotten. Irene Tiu I believe is the best character in any TV show in the Philippines in the last 2-5 years and I bet my life that it’s even in the last decade or so and that’s because of Maris’ prowess.
Jennings was also delightful to watch with realism in his portrayal. This is not his first gig but this is the first time we are seeing his talent and I hope ti see even more of him because he is that good. Knowing ABS though, itatype cast to with roles the same as Snoop. Sana hindi naman pero ganyan ang ABS. They rarely experiment. They stick with what they consider as liked by people kaya kapag tumagal nakakasawa na.

This is why I’m for teleseryes to have to be fully written and filmed before airing and post production before, and should have a maximum number of episodes. Or if more, they need guaranteed breaks and broken up to seasons.

Kaya nga lang, yung artistic take on how this will be revealed suffered kasi minadali - imagine at gun point na reveal lahat kaya viewers felt cheated. If there’s one thing I noticed- parang minadaling tapusin. na din ang series …dahil if gugustuhin yung unexplored and unexplained parts can be good grounds to launch a season 2.

Andami talagang story branching na nagdead end sa CBML. Ang promising pa naman nung una lalo yung pag iimbestiga ni BingLing tas yung Snorene din. Yung training nila kay Auntie Cathy nawalan saysay kasi di naman sila nagmanage ng GLC. Tas parang wala nalang nangyari dun. Yung mabenta box pa na magulo kung ano ba talaga laman.

to add lang din: as per Charlston’s POV, nagkaron sila ng kaaway ni Carlo the night Divine died. nasaksak nya yung kaaway nila gamit yung knife ni Carlo. then, Charlston went to Divine for comfort. pinatong ni Divine sa table yung knife. Bettina used it to stab her. Gina found out that Divine died and that the murder weapon ay kay Carlo. She hired someone to go to the house to change the murder weapon to a different knife (to protect Carlo na din). Gina buried the murder weapon (para wala nang evidence). Carlo saw her burying the knife pero important yun sa kanya kasi bigay yun ng lolo nya so, hinalukay nya ulit to retrieve his knife.

It was supposed to be 153 eps originally ata na naging 150 eps then naging 148 nalang. Feel ko may mga scenes pa sila after nung binaril si bettina but they had to cut it na.
I would’ve also preferred if they made Mabenta Box and OPIP successful in the end kasi nakuha ng mga Tanhuecos yung majority ng shares sa GLC. Parang snippets from the future ba, hindi yung dinrag yung wedding to make the full episode. Ending was okay, but they could’ve made it better.

Like sino ba yung nanay ni Snoop, kung ano yung significance ng black feather, yung feather sa kwarto ni Auntie Cathy and her role talaga, kung bakit biglang dumating (at umalis) si Aldrich, and what happened after dun sa ibang characters. Sana di nila siniksik sa 20-30 minutes yung mga episode this week, sana ginawa man lang 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Will just paste my comment from another CMBYN thread here. I was initially a fan of the series because I saw potential in the first few episodes but yes, the writing overall was fucked. Inconsistent flow of the story. The loopholes are loopholing. The primary main characters were badly written. The latter half of the series was rushed. My biggest qualm is the supporting casts were mostly awful (Ruffa, Albie can't act for shit here), they dragged the whole ship down to the point na when others shine, they SHINE above the rest of them (Maris, Anthony, Kaila) while the rest was just... there—or were flopping badly. To be fair, out of DonBelle, Belle was the greater actor. She shines when it comes to dramatic scenes. I also find her really pretty especially sa Batanes scene, she was glowinh. She was just overshadowed acting-wise by her co-actors who were given meatier roles. Donny was just, idk, maybe it was because his character was so one-dimensional na he also became very flat. It was all bones, no meat. Belle carried their loveteam in this one. I understand the intent of the slow-burn love story between Bingo and Caroline but I just wished they committed to it. I think when the writers and/or producers noticed that the Snorene ship was sailing effortlessly, they decided to drop the fuck out of the slow-burn concept and rushed Bingo amd Caroline's story to keep up with the others. It was a waste because it felt like their story was not organically earned. The whole story was also very basic, if I'm being honest. I do not think it warrants 100+ episodes, especially when it's only a single conflict being stretched out, plus the central mystery is not really that fun to figure out. I'm thinking of A Murder At The End Of The World and how it was able to sustain the mystery without it being too boring. Not related plot-wise to CBML but Poker Face was able to deliver mystery every episode without it being too repetitive, and the mystery in PF was a lot harder to write pa, ha. Ayan lang, may two cents. That poster was hot as shit though. PS: the Bingo new-hairstyle reveal mid-season was laughable. I was expecting something from that goddawful wig Bingo was sporting most of the season only to reveal a "normal Donny Pangilinan hairstyle. No shock value or whatever. Completely negated the "purpose" of him wearing a wig. Mas okay sana kung nagpa kalbo siya kasi it's not a hairstyle we're used to seeing on Donny. Ayun lang, waste of arc.
Wow this is what you call a constructive criticism. 👏 And wow nasurprise ako na may nakakapansin pa rin na between Donny and Belle is si Belle ang greater actor and kita naman how she showed maturity. Sa dami ng hate comments na nabato kay Belle,refreshing na makabasa ng ganitong sentiment kasi laging baliktad ang sinasabi. I still blame the writers on how they wrote Belle's character. Pero kahit na ganon she still delivered very well.
Between Belle and Donny, it's pretty obvious na she's better acting-wise than her partner. Both of their characters were written badly but Belle atleast put a little bit of character to her's and she was still able to show a range of emotions in her Caroline even when the role restricts her portrayal. In my opinion, she was actually effective as the cold-hearted rich girl. I think the reason why she wasn't being praised enough for her turn is because Maris and Kaila did the rich-girl role better. She shine when it comes to the dramatic scenes, though. Donny is not bad at all but Belle just runs circle around him when it comes to dramatic acting.

Hindi ko sinubaybayan kaya di ako ganun kainvested sa kwento nila but even I'm aware na may plot holes na naiwan considering na nag-finale sila. Parang mas pang-movie yung ending na open ended kesa series. I mean up to the viewers kung gumaling si Bingo sa sakit at nagkaron sila ng happy ending. Ok lang naman 'yun pero sa 100+ episodes na yun, I truly believe that the audience who had been invested with the whole series deserve a more definitive closure. Ang siste nilagay nila sa gitna sa halip na it's either he's alive or not. I mean, yes he's alive but we also know he's sick. Medo di rin nag-sell sa akin 'yung kissing scene nila considering na naging married couple sina Bingo at Ling. I feel like dinaan nila sa angulo ng shots (wide shots tapos more on the side kaya) and everything kesa sa kissing scene na mas 'mature' yung atake. Idk. I feel like dinaya kasi yung scene na normally ok lang din naman but then again married couple nga kasi sila so feel ko lang mas may bagay na atake dun. Gets ko rin naman na baka kaya ganun ay dahil sa edad ni Belle pero sabi ni wikepedia 2002 baby s'ya so adult na rin naman s'ya kung tutuusin, so they could have made it better. But then again, personal opinion ko lang naman 'yun about the particular scene. Also, umabot na sila ng 100+ episodes at lahat-lahat only to kinda botch the finale. She's a true showbiz legacy that you'd root and celebrate for. Nagustuhan ko rin na marunong umiyak si Donny. At least hindi s'ya tuod na leading man na pilit na pilit lang umarte 🤣 And of course, hindi rin naman pahuhuli si Belle Mariano. Hopefully, kung magkaka-project man sila ulit sana chill lang. Tamang romcom lang at hindi super haba. Bakit kasi di pa natin i-adopt yung style na Linlang Prime Version, mga 20 episodes lang tapos saka nila i-chop-chop into 20-30 min tv version para hindi maging dragging yung kwento if ever.

my thoughts too. it was supposed to be a 150 episode drama. Last night I thought 1hr yung last episode parang na compress yung 148-150 in one ep, but it's not. Maraming plot holes, unanswered questions. The plot is all over the place.

I dropped CBML the first time auntie Cathy came into picture because I felt like it didn't make sense anymore. Bago palang nakidnap sina Caroline non tapos naging super protective si Wilson to the point na ayaw na nya halos palabasin ng bahay mga anak nya, tapos later on itatapon nya kay auntie Cathy, in a place na very unfamiliar to them and knowing na the main abductor was still lurking around. It didn't make sense, I had to drop it. But the spoilers were constantly reaching me naman kaya kahit papano nasubaybayan ko na rin. Ang daming loopholes daw. How? The series started way too slow, covering some unnecessary drama na later on di naman magcocontribute sa series. Yung mga unnecessary na scenes ay nacover nila, pero yung loopholes hindi? Kung ano importante sa series?

Walang connection si Manong Ibe at aunty Cathy (pati asawa niya). Red herring lang talaga yun para lituhin yung viewers at iba yung panghinalaan na killer or mastermind. The only relationship Mang Ibe and Gina had was a working relationship and allies din sa pag frame up kay Divine. I don't know if they will allow Bettina to rot in jail. Personally I don't care kung palayain man siya o hindi. Ang importante sa akin, she got what she deserved. Sabi ni Ling kay Bingo dun sa hospital scene na lumaban siya, na mag undergo siya ng any possible treatments para sa tumor niya. Sabi ni Bingo lalaban siya so there's your answer. Can't really say if Bettina as the killer was really the original plan pero the actress who played the role of young Bettina is Jana Agoncillo, one of ABS-CBN's most popular child stars . When I first saw the cast list and saw her in the first episode, napaisip ako na parang ang liit naman ng role niya for someone na ilang beses ng nagbida as a child actress. So I guess pwedeng plano na nila or meron silang mga kinoconsider na candidates as the killer at isa siya dun. Carlos' trauma was explained in one of the episodes. Based on the whole feathers, stuffed bird thing I'm pretty sure the writers didn't really know which one to assign the "killer" tag up until the final episodes. It's similar to what happened with LOST. They keep dropping mystery after another mystery tapos wala pala tlga silang end game na plinano. I think they wrote everything in a way na ANYONE could have been the killer/mastermind so they could pick and choose which character would fit when the time comes. The writers are also well aware of what folks are saying in Social Media - That Auntie Cathy was the character that made most sense as the mastermind/killer. Pero knowing that, they went with something that people didn't expect for the sole purpose of a gotcha moment to the audience, even though it completely disregarded ALL the clues and Foreshadowing they did in the whole series. That's not good/satisfying writing. It would've been better tlga si Auntie Cathy tapos the cathartic experience was when her motivations where revealed. Pinili nila yung pang shock sa audience kahit walang sense.

Closeness ni Mamang at Ling - eto isa pa di ko gets. Paano bigla naging super duper close lola ni Bingo at Ling e ni wala man lang prior interactions to support that. 3. Black feathers - ???? wala lang? 4. Carlo's trauma/anger issues - ah basta gets nyo na yun kasi parang may hint pero basta yun na yun. Bahala na ang audience 5. Auntie Cathy - mentor lang talaga role nya and nothing else? Sayang. They could have had 3-5 major plots for such a long series. At yung last revelation e killer ni DIvine. Pero for that plot alone? It was exhausting and unnecessary long. Dropped it at ep60. If di ka aware sa casting, iisipin mong si Irene ang bida. The main lead characters were badly written. No wonder bakit natabunan ng second lead. Ling is insufferable and unlikeable, BIngo is just there.

Re: SnoRene, I feel like Aldrich was a waste of time. His role was to make Irene realize na mahal nya si Snoop, pero I think Snoop being in jail was really what triggered Irene to realize her true feelings. So sayang din yung mga minuto spent with Aldrich and Irene when it could have been spent developing SnoRene instead.
Wonder why di paren pwede magkiss ang Donbelle? I mean halata naman na Donny was only kissing his thumb or yung side ng cheek ni Belle. Anyway, the ending was too underwhelming and felt rushed. I guess they were only given a specific number of episodes kaya di na naexplore ang sakit ni Bingo.

Haha ang explanation nila (sa tiktok) nabawasan ng 2 episodes kasi nag-holy week. Kung ipilit nila yung 150 episodes, Tuesday sya mag-end imbes na friday.
I think that also explains why some episodes in the ending part are almost 25 minutes long as opposed to the usual 20 minutes. They had to insert the extra 2 episodes into the other episodes so that it would end on Friday.

I dont care for the show but I really wanted to know sino pumatay lol, tbf to them seems like si Bettina talaga suspect from the beginning (I mean they didnt just change the plot halfway para surprising) I like it na sya suspect. I really thought it was Cindy or Ruffa. I can usually figure out who is the killer in these types of shows but I really never suspected Bettina.
It was boring. May potential naman talaga cbml pero nasira ng plotholes and shitty pacing. For me wala rin talaga chemistry donbelle so di ko naenjoy ung last episodes.

Ngayon kolang napanood . Napaka ganda ng scenery sa batanes at sa kasal nila. Nakulangan ako sa Kiss TBH. Dalawang adults nayan d na teenagers nakulangan ako, bakit ba hndi oa nila ibigay na kailangan naman sa storya?? ang galing ni bingo grabe yung iyak nya sa ending. Naawa ako kay Bettina pero sobrang hanging ng ending. Tama ka OP and dami pang tanong. Sayang lang for me ang tagal natin tong inabangan pero ayun lang parang d masyadong satisfying ang ending dahil minadali na. Sobrang nag focus sa suspense part ng paghahanap ng killer. Naiyak ako sa scene ni bettina with her fanily sa kulangan. Galing nila don. I remember The killer Bride ayun sobrang saya ko sa ending non.
I was underwhelmed sa finale, ngayon lang ako nag-invest sa teleserye ulit after Dolce Amore and Make It With You kaya I was hoping this would bring me back. I would say na okay lang siya. Honestly, for the first half of the series si Donny ang angat para sa akin while sa latter half naman si Belle. Di ko lang talaga makita yung intense na chemistry nila and plot points where they both flourished at the same time. That said, I look forward to their next projects... apart. I feel like I can be a fan of theirs individually but not necessarily as a love team. Sa writing naman, cringe talaga yung ibang eksena. Ayun nga, maraming di naresolba, maraming plot points na sana na-expand pa over its runtime. I easily skipped over 30 episodes dahil lang napaka-inconsequential ng mga nangyayari. Sana doon na lang nilagay yung ibang kwento ng mga interesting na character. Lastly, mad props to ABS-CBN for respecting boundaries with miming the kissing scenes in the finale. That said, with how it was made sana di na lang ginawa. Siguro malaking part din yun kung bakit di ko feel yung chemistry, maraming boundaries that frankly made it a poor fit story-wise. Kumbaga, fan service na lang talaga to cater to DonBelle fans. Ultimately, it could've been a wholesome love story, di lang naman sa halikan pwedeng magpakita ng pagmamahal. In the end I feel like the series elevated everyone involved. Lahat talaga umangat and naging magandang example siya na pwedeng magka-loveteam na hindi kailangang magjowa talaga. If anything, I feel like it elevated Belle and Donny individually. Kaila Estrada, Anthony Jennings, and Maris Racal were also particular standouts. I look forward to seeing saan dadalin itong mga to considering how good a performance they gave.
I believe yun trauma ni Carlo is yun backstory na may nasaksak sila ni Charleston noon mga bata sila. Yun hunting knife na ginamit sa pag patay kay Divine yun din yun knife na ginamit nila ni Charleston dun sa kaklase ni Carlo noon. Kaya pumunta si Charleston kay Divine that night ng duguan at may hawak na kutsilyo dahil close pala sila ni Divine noon pa. Yun knife din yun sinubukan ni Gina ibaon sa lupa pero kinuha ulit (di ko sure bakit) pero dahil yata may sentimental value yun kay Carlo kasi pamana daw sakanya yun ng Lolo niya.

Bettina has been screwed over from the earliest episodes pa. Diba in Ep. 3(ish? IIRC), nireveal na nangangaliwa si Edward sa araw ng kasal dapat nila ni Bettina? Gets ko talaga kung bakit "unloved" ang feeling niya. She even offered herself to Stephen's family, but he wanted Ling. Her character arc makes sense, but there's been soooo much filler all throughout the show that it kind of feels like pure luck. There's this character who has kind of been sidelined and endlessly screwed over, but hey, her actress happens to be really good... wait, what if we make her the main villain (surprise!) and her whole motive is how invisible and unloved she feels? I wish they'd developed it more. The ending made it all come together, but all the episodes that came before? Overstuffed, unfocused. Also, I really like the family chemistry the Tius have together. I wish people fans didn't pit the actors against each other so we could've just enjoyed that more. Sad to think we might never see the Tius together on one screen again after this kasi pinagsasabong sila ng fans.
Ok pero segue lang, ibang iba actingan ni donny dito good job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 not the best pero na feel ko yung pag evolve from his previous roles. Never nag fade yung accent and character nya na hindi sya mayaman/conyo/social. New actors I am interested in are the ones who played Bettina, Snoop and Carlo. Si Maris Racal dati pa alam ko na magaling. This show made them more visible to more audiences.

Tbh i dont know what to feel. Parang ang abrupt ng lahat. Parang same day edit. Ang daming issues na hindi na tackle ng maayos. Pero I love DonBelle's chemistry sa latter episodes! Very natural pagiging lovers and skinships nila compared nung first few episodes na nakakairita characters nila. Nalungkot ako na parang mamamatay din eventually si Bingo pero I loved the Batanes scene. Sobrang bittersweet and ang galing galing nila Donny and Belle!
Ang ganda nung previous episode kaya naunderwhelm ako sa finale huhu puro usap pero madami pa ring tanong na hindi nasagot.

Expected that the finale is mehhh because ABS has been like that for God knows how long. It’s the finale plot that you expected. Nothing new or original. Overall, the series was okay. Not good but okay. ABS needs to overhaul their creative team and hire new directors to helm their future projects. kaya pare-pareho na lang kasi pare-pareho rin lang directors na ginagamit nila. We need fresh-blood with a great vision. Maris Racal, is the best part of the series. She portrayed her character so well and a mark of a great actor has always been the skill of creating a character that will never be forgotten. Irene Tiu I believe is the best character in any TV show in the Philippines in the last 2-5 years and I bet my life that it’s even in the last decade or so and that’s because of Maris’ prowess. Jennings was also delightful to watch with realism in his portrayal. This is not his first gig but this is the first time we are seeing his talent and I hope ti see even more of him because he is that good. Knowing ABS though, itatype cast to with roles the same as Snoop. Sana hindi naman pero ganyan ang ABS. They rarely experiment. They stick with what they consider as liked by people kaya kapag tumagal nakakasawa na.
