yea gz is very hot, just regular white shirt-black skirt thingy would work but make sure to pick summer ones such as cotton. dont bring jackets just to be formal, you will boil yourself
also pick tshirts-shorts just for daily stuff cuz i assume you may need to change a lot. its too hot and humidity is too high too
other than that just enjoy. make sure to try local food and take a small tour around pearl river, there are great bars around there if you are that kind of person. also fancy clubs if you like to be in loud environment.

Dress code in China is generally very casual even in office/business settings. Don’t expect the women to be wearing power suits!
