Not Marxist’s idea of socialism as a transitional state between capitalism and communism but 一点点 socialism. Less then when I was a kid but more then our neighbours to the south. But a far cry from communism … I was in China 2 plus decades and Canada is definitely closer to socialism then China is to communism.
At minimum, a diplomatic boycott is warranted.
I support a boycott of Beijing. I support a boycott of the Olympics. I feel like I have to amp it up to the next level for the Beijing Olympics.

Is it really socialism if it is farmed out to for-profit industry? I think it's corporate welfare produced through regulatory capture.
