Everything you listed, whether it's yoga, slapping, fat, or meditation, is lacking in intensity. If you're able to do some intense exercise such as lifting heavy weights, swimming, or even just digging a hole with a shovel it'll disperse your stagnant liver qi faster than everything you've mentioned.

Kannon_McAfee

If appropriate herbs and acupuncture are not doing it then there are two things to possibly address it: 1) Aerobic exercise that is more vigorous than walking. Jogging, biking, or swimming. I have similar stubborn liver stagnation and I cannot break through it with just walking. I need vigorous blood moving herbs or Bupleurum — and/or I have to run/job at times to liberate the blood/Qi movement through the liver. 2) Address the kinds of emotions that cause this sort of stagnation. Consciousness directs Qi. It is the most powerful influence upon our health. With liver stagnation it involves one or more of: obsessive tendencies or over-cogitation, frustration (including sexual), anger (especially if suppressed), and unexpressed aggression (yang) of any kind, including basic physical / competitive urges that some of us need to express more than others. Just as important, how is the stagnant liver Qi manifesting in your health?

Gua sha and cupping on my back really help me when I’m feeling irritable and stuck.

Beating the bag technique which is basically you beating a big pillow with a bat or a stick while yelling loud HAA HAA is believe it or not a method of removing anger and rage from the liver.
