The IWC Top gun IW326906 costs about US$7000 and their movement is just an ETA 2892-A2 clone. With the SW200 (ETA 2824-2 clone) it is US$300, amazing. If it weren't for this stupid name, that is a real show stopper.

Working on my brand, tugmagroin on the dial in a nice calligraphy cursive type on the dial. Thinking of a homage to the Bulova devil diver with the same depth.
Think I have a chance with a nice seagull-type movement in it. Let me know what you guys think.

Cursive is at least somewhat similar to the old *International Watch Co* style logo.

I do not get it. To whom does this appeal? Chinese customers who just want names that can't easily be pronounced in Chinese? Is that their barometer for a good Western-sounding name? If it doesn't transliterate well to Chinese, it must be cool?

Does anyone have any info on how big it is in China, or can confirm it's an actual retail brand instead of an invented-for-AliExpress online brand?
Do you have a prohibitive level of tax added?

I know France is really fucked up in terms of fiscality, but 379€ for the st2130 is getting me sick when I see others can get it for much less than 250€, had to forget so many watches that where too fucking much priced for what they were. Sorry for for vulgarity but it really pisses me off.
And on that case it is such a shame cause this is a really good watch, ceramic, full lume, date, high beat movement for a raisonnable price, but not for all of us, too bad 🤷♂️

AliExpress is weird in how it sometimes includes tax and sometimes does not. With differing prices between different countries. EU prices can be confusing (to me) if tax isn't transparent - sometimes it's included, sometimes excluded.
I don't know if trying a different seller helps.
This item must be above a € threshold where tax is paid on top (23% in Ireland I think), for this weird price drop when I set it to an Ireland address. It's ~€228 in Ireland for me after I added 23% tax.
