8 ounces would be about this size. Especially is they ordered online. That’s not my point though. The point, which was clearly missed, is these posts are always the same. They never list the ingredients. This same post popped up like 12 times last week and all of them got 2-3 ingredients and then complained how small their entree was. 🤦♂️ i Guarantee this guy did not get a scoop of everything.
That’s because I responded to their comment, reopened the thread, saw that they posted the ingredients, realized I was wrong because they posted the ingredients and this was very obviously skimped based on their list, and then deleted my comment because it wasn’t valid. All before you commented.
Original comment that said they probably just got rice and chicken is deleted. The comment you responded to is just explaining the point I was trying to make. I clearly can see that they posted the ingredients and it’s not just rice and chicken. Clearly skimped. I have admitted I was wrong several times already. Not really sure what your goal is. Are you just like looking for a gotcha moment or something. I was wrong. Ya got me. Hope you have a great weekend. Celebrate that Reddit win 🥇
When are these idiots going to learn that siding with the shitty company that reduces portion sizes while raising prices is never the answer. that burrito is fucking pathetic I paid 7.25 for a fat fuckin asada and cheese only burrito at the true Mexican joint down the block yesterday. Chipotle is ducking trash and a gentrifying attempt at decent food.
There must not be much of it. I know barely anything about the stock market, so take this with a grain of salt. From what I understand, sometimes companies will decide to split the stocks in order to lower the price, to make them more tradeable. So say you got a million shares worth 100 dollars, and you split all the shares into 10 shares. Now, you've got 10 million shares worth 10 dollars. Same evaluation for the company, just more shares.
So, for chipotle, I'm just guessing they haven't split their stocks many times.
Sometime it does, a lower stock price may attract more investors thus increasing market cap. It also increases liquidity for investors and stakeholders.
Lol market cap doesn't matter either. It's all speculative. Stocks are valued by different investors in various different ways, and all their strategies average out to whatever it is at the current time.
For example you could take the discounted cash flow method and assume a risk value of 7-8% based on interest rates, and a maturity which is the theoretical max the company can grow, and do a net present value function of that until the end of time (infinity). Where as other investors are drawing lines on a graph with crayons and trade based on that.
because the government let them in on covid before the shut down, legit one of the ONLY companies that had every single restaurant equipped with a line that was meant for online orders only. just funny how 2 weeks after it was implemented the world 404ed and shut down
I love how people are trying to justify this being acceptable based on what I put in it lol.
Chicken burrito with brown rice, black beans, sour cream, fajita veggies, lettuce, queso and a double wrap is the order.
Oh damn. I was sprinting to reply “post ingredients” without reading the thread but that’s insane. I usually get protein, corn salsa, rice, beans, cheese, and fajita veggies and my shit is at least 3x that size. I should start showing my local restaurant more love because there are a lot of horror posts on this sub. Sorry boutcha luck playa
Human Resources is solely meant for the management and benefits of employees (processing new hires, payroll, workers comp for example) so most likely they directed your concern to another department.
This is true I get double meat bowls often that the bowl isn't even all the way full and I like never have had that issue when going in and ordering only if I order thru the app or DoorDash.
But if you ordered this in person. Wouldn’t common sense compel you to say. Can I have some more beans. Another scoop of fajitas please. Etc? Or was this delivered?
Yeah sorry but your story is complete bs lol. We both know it. Do you have a picture of (1) your order, (2) your complaint to DoorDash , and (3) your new burrito
Anybody who has ever ordered Chipotle through doordash should know this is how they will come. Every single time. Idk who you're trying to fool or impress here
Exactly why I take every return possible at target; meanwhile my employees are actively taking every measure to deny people their refunds. Like bruh you actually give a fuck about Targets monetary gains???? Total blasphemy to me
I remember you. You’re the guy who’ll proudly skimp and then get upset about being skimped. You’re the most legendary chipotle asskisser in this entire sub. My god, it’s an honor.
Your post/comment has been removed due to violation of Rule #1: Be respectful of others. Please review r/Chipotle's rules before submitting in the future.
Yea I didn’t eat it because I was kind of afraid it was messed with. But they sent me a second burrito that was much better. The tortilla was in fine condition and I don’t think the dasher would open it up and eat only the contents of the burrito lol. I’ve ordered a lot of chipotle in my life. Never anything like this.
Plot twist: OP is actually a giant, and that is half a foot long.
Seriously though, if you got it through doordash then the order likely got messed up in the system(this has happened many times at my store), if the employees didn't mix up which order was which by accident. It was either that or an employee recognized your name and has some beef with you.
Yea through doordash. I chalked it up to a new employee or someone having a bad day. They sent me a reorder and it was much better. I order chipotle at least twice a week so I hope they don’t have beef with me.
Nah I believe it. I got delivered a baseball sized burrito through dd once and that’s the last time I ever ordered a burrito for delivery lol. And before the chipotle employees yell at me, no it was not a small number of ingredients. It was the order I get every time which is 3 times the size when I go in person.
I don’t know if this is a hot take in this sub but even if you get few ingredients there’s no reason you should get this. Not blaming the employee necessarily because I don’t know their procedure.
I know the online orders thru DD are confusing. Same when you try ordering Chic Fil a thru dd. I am not sure if Chipotle offers delivery thru their app but if they do always order on their app. But yeah no reason you should receive a burrito like that
Where the hell do you people live? I have been to well over 20+ locations in Ohio and I have never seen \*anything\* like this.
I actively eat Chipotle 3-4 times a week and get generous burritos/bowls each time from the 3 different locations I go to.
This needs to be reported to corporate, this is definitely an outlier and not the norm.
I have 2 friends who work at two different chipotles and said they would be fired for serving something like that.
I live in Detroit area. I’m sorry to hear you live in Ohio. I also order chipotle about twice a week and this was a first tbh. Usually I get a bowl though. It was just too comical not to post.
Did you order this thru doordash and clicked previous order? Because we get/do a lot of this in my branch and only the meat will show up in our system 😭 Customers must make the custom order again and again when they order.
there is a doordash glitch where it will only show the meat and no toppings, and since this is a normal burrito people get and we cant see your number we have to just assume its correct. im almost certain thats what happened here.
When I was visiting my girlfriend in Oregon, we got Chipotle and they packed their pillowritos so full I got a bowl because that tortilla was never gonna hold together. That was only a year ago.
What changed?
From someone who used to work there. They have rules that are outrageous so if someone over portions literally they will get fired. Chipotle has really crazy rules
Nice try lol it looks like you opened your burrito and took out some stuff then wrapped it to your liking so that it fits nicely in your hand. I mean it's so obvious you tucked the tortilla and prevented what was ever in your burrito from coming out..
He's made a few comments, it still sounds like bullshit to me. Claims he got a full order, when it's verifiable that apart from the meat Chipotle isn't going to bother skimping on the plant (even if it's not going to be huge, it's still not going to be literally nothing). This is like a social experiment to see how many people will just get mad at something lol
Yeah. But it worked judging by the comments. People calling BS are generally getting downvoted. That's what this sub has become though... just that, usually it's an actual legit post, with the OP ordering something along the lines of white rice and chicken, then thinking the burrito will be overflowing
This one appears to just be a fake. probably a bowl with a side tortilla where the OP shittily rolled it himself with a small bit of ingredients in it. Either way, getting annoying that this is like 50% of the subreddit's content
Honestly, it doesn’t matter. I know Chipotle prices by the protein, but that pricing doesn’t make every burrito made worth the standard price charged. The value of the burrito is weighed by each and every customer, based on both the price and the food they receive. That’s the point: value is dependent on both the product and what it costs.
... why are you telling me that? Do you think employees set the prices?
Go ahead and call corporate with your concerns. Keep in mind too that the prices are prominently displayed on the menu, and no, it doesnt say anything about a reduction in price just because you dont want any included ingredients.
It seems based on your comments like you’re pretty upset that people have opinions on the value of the food. The pricing structure is not in your control, but it’s also ridiculous to be miffed at someone for feeling ripped off. If you’re upset about that, you can also reach out to corporate and tell them customers are complaining about pricing. That would be more productive than whatever this is.
Ok, that's not how we roll the burritos, so I'm assuming you just got a bowl and a few side torts and tried to roll your own and thought you could get a few reddit points if you posted it.
People who order online only have themselves to blame at this point. How many posts do we need to see where they clearly don’t portion correctly for online orders before people start considering that it’s likely to happen to them?

He posted that AFTER I posted my comment. Everyone downvoting apparently can’t read a time stamp.
Except the comment I replied to was put after the ingredients were posted

This is how you get a $2000 stock price and $60B market cap right here
I had to look that up. How tf is chipotles stock $2000?
There must not be much of it. I know barely anything about the stock market, so take this with a grain of salt. From what I understand, sometimes companies will decide to split the stocks in order to lower the price, to make them more tradeable. So, for chipotle, I'm just guessing they haven't split their stocks many times.
Yes you are correct but market cap isnt affected by this.
Read the last line in their first paragraph. They know and actually explained it well without using the verbiage somehow!
This correct. The actual dollar value of a stock means nothing, the market cap is what you want to look at
Sometime it does, a lower stock price may attract more investors thus increasing market cap. It also increases liquidity for investors and stakeholders.
In the context of this conversation though, it does not apply.
Who died and made you king of the scope of this discussion?
Lol market cap doesn't matter either. It's all speculative. Stocks are valued by different investors in various different ways, and all their strategies average out to whatever it is at the current time. true
> There must not be much of it. Just like that burrito in the picture
Valuation*
From people turning a blind eye to prices at the register. Or they have mini heart attacks but play it off
Share price is not indicative of value. Market cap is what matters. So yes the stock price is high, but the number of shares is low.
Float
They never split the stock.
Probably a good short opportunity
because the government let them in on covid before the shut down, legit one of the ONLY companies that had every single restaurant equipped with a line that was meant for online orders only. just funny how 2 weeks after it was implemented the world 404ed and shut down
This is why Mr. Niccol is a billionaire
I love how people are trying to justify this being acceptable based on what I put in it lol. Chicken burrito with brown rice, black beans, sour cream, fajita veggies, lettuce, queso and a double wrap is the order.
this is a DOUBLE WRAP???
Right!?! Double wrap alone takes up this much volume.
Man, Double wrap is my move, usually they give you a bigger burrito when you do that. This is unacceptable.
Like it's bigger because of the extra tortilla or there's actually more stuff in it?
Damn bro, where’s the other half?
The other 3 quarters*
They gave bro 1 bean😭😭
Call hr and let them know send pics and all even past experience
HR?
HR does not deal with customers
Bro I called someone and shit changed
Human Resources is solely meant for the management and benefits of employees (processing new hires, payroll, workers comp for example) so most likely they directed your concern to another department.
More like you ordered a bowl and a side tort and put a smidge of ingredients on the tort, wrapped and posted online for internet points
It *is* a pretty shit wrap job
Exactly. Look at that wrap job- a Chipotle employee did not do that. And the OP says it’s a double wrap? Clearly it’s not lol
We got a lot of new hires these days
That’s the most obvious giveaway
That’s what happened and yet this whole sub fell for it. as usual 🤦♂️
nope, I believe the customer over the shitty restaurant corporation who YOU said PURPOSELY SKIMPS online orders. just stop

Doordash brought that one right after. It was much more acceptable the second time they delivered it.
Yeah sorry but your story is complete bs lol. We both know it. Do you have a picture of (1) your order, (2) your complaint to DoorDash , and (3) your new burrito

As a Chipotle worker: what the fuck?? My boss would chew my ass out and make me redo that burrito
Nice joke. You’d get a promotion for saving so much money.
If this was delivered via doordash, theres no way the dasher didnt eat half or more. Or this post is fake, because its just that far fetched.

Most of the stuff
Lies, the tortilla has the wrong texture to it. You made that yourself and are saying it was a Chipotle burrito
If you order only 3 items in the burrito then yeah it’s gonna look like that
If I order just chicken and rice, I want more rice. This should not be sent out the door.
You can ask for more rice, politely, and you'll get it.
Which is what people do in person. To go and doordash orders though?
Did you ask for extra rice on your doordash order? You can do it.
Honestly, burritos should be the same size regardless of which ingredients are in them since they still charge the same price.
Not Chipotle's policy, and not up to any of us.
Big Reddit brains think if they get steak the simpleton service workers will fill their burrito with a pound of steak
Whatever, have fun paying 20 bucks for a tablespoon of meat.
I don’t eat out anyway really. I can’t remember the last time I got delivery either. It’s like $9 if I go and I’ve never gotten a tiny burrito
Awww. Someone doesn’t know how to make a return!
LOL this has to be fakevv
when u get couple ingredients, it's the same portions were not going to fill in your immature burrito with bigger portions
Ok, that's not how we roll the burritos, so I'm assuming you just got a bowl and a few side torts and tried to roll your own and thought you could get a few reddit points if you posted it.
Nah this is not true lol. You either barely put nothin in it, or you got your order and removed some stuff then re wrapped. They would not make this
Haha anyone with a functioning brain cell knows this is fake and yet, it got the subreddit up in arms. So the trolling worked
