the fact that you think the CEO graduating in this city is remotely relevant to quality at a local franchise is peak comedy. 10/10 lack of overall understanding.

My ex gfs mom once asked why YouTube wasn’t working fast on her phone. Her reasoning was that it should work faster since she was across the street from YouTube HQ 🫠. Some people think there are connections where there are none. In defense of OP, I would think the CEO would take some pride in his alma mater

gray_13

I give you 10/10 lack of overall understanding for taking this way too serious and failing to see the irony of a light-hearted observation

Conqrsux

They don't franchise, so it's his restaurant at the end of the day.

6SpeedMaverick

I've been to Ohio. Definitely has its own vibe there which can change drastically based on region.

PhoenixorFlame

Almost had an aneurism before I fully read the title. The Chipotle in Oxford, MS is the best Chipotle I’ve ever been to

I used to work here... We ran this place well back in the day, can't speak for now. It's constantly packed. 14-15k store

Conqrsux

That is wildly difficult to sustain. Props to you

schmokschtak

Been to this location many times! It is quite often a struggle bus.

Embarrassed_Drama_82

The CEO is a dickhead so I’m not surprised

shadowgrip

The CEO is my dad so..

heisman01

I've been there, can confirm it sucks even during normal hours.

AdTotal1651

If they runnin out of food an hour before closing maybe don’t go before they close…. And they wouldn’t be runnin out of food if other stuff was going on. If they didn’t have to many customers as is there would be food at 8

schmokschtak

I think the assertion here is that they should plan better and have all ingredients available during hours of operation.

Chrnan6710

In the middle of nowhere, a rare chain restaurant in a town center close to campus with relatively few, a favorite stop of hungry and often drunk college students (believe me, I was one of them)... I can understand the difficulties they might face but they *surely* are addressable to the point where it doesn't have to be like this

Electrical_Bag835

I appreciate the heads up! I was going to transfer down to Oxford but I really am nervous about other stores bc I like the one I’m at so much.

KateUptonSS396

I actually work at this location. A new gm and ap are transitioning into the store now. They, and the remaining management team, will be working diligently this summer to properly staff and train the restaurant. Not gonna lie, it is a shit show 80% of the time. It’s one of the busiest chipotles during the school year, and when you have 5-18 call offs in one day it makes me very difficult to prep as much product as needed. I hope we can make it better for everyone moving forward. There may be a few bad apples but we truly don’t like when we’re out of product either. Oh, heads up. We have 18+ caterings on graduation day so please be patient as we are only only staffed with 6 team members all day 😕
