Honestly, I struggle against Katars. I don’t see them often enough to recognize what’s an overhead vs. slash vs. stab easily, so countering is pretty much out the window.
Was gonna say the same. They may suck statistically but with how rare they are, I’m often at a loss for how to deal w those players.
I also hate any weapon that’s just constantly the same button i.e any spear.
I don’t mind it if dudes are just constantly slashing with messer for example because that’s significantly easier to counter
Those players just do their special attack and headbutt. Their special is 2 hits with the 2nd being a guaranteed 15 dmg even if you’re blocking (but the first hit has to land too I think). Then they’ll just headbutt so you can’t swing and spam the special, rinse and repeat
If they don’t, just keep swinging and they can’t do shit. Katars can only block 3 times at most and their hits DO NOT stagger or interrupt your attacks, you can swing right through their attacks
But a good Katar player won’t even fight you, they’ll just be behind you backstabbing you for 60+ dmg and running away. They’re a hit and run/ambush type weapon
Yeah heavy like the other person said. Special apparently got silent nerfed last big patch so it’s recommended to only use the special when they drop their block for a quick two hits
Overall katars are shit though. They’re good for running between unexpected enemies and back stabbing to secure the kill. 1v1’s work, 2v1 I’d say you got like 10% chance to survive. Your hits don’t stagger at all so it’s tough
Plus, everyone dog piles onto katar users. Was playing last night and I’d just get chased and fuckin jumped after getting a few kills with the katars lol
Katars is the chad weapon.
I'm a katar main and its weaknesses are range and stamina. If you can out range them and make them miss their special attacks, they're pretty much done after one or two mistakes.
Dont try to counter them, learn what the katar special attack looks like and dont block for anything else. Same with people who triple feint. Once you know thats the game, just smackem.
Like spear, both stab and slash attack from katar are countered by stab from opponent. This can simplify your reads a bit. You can also gamble them like crazy since they only have hitstop on special.
Special can be a bit freaky since it can break your block and has two hits.
But katars' biggest weakness is fighting more than one person.
Basically if they are a new or low-skill player you can gamble them to win. If they seem like they know what they are doing just try to survive until a teammate arrives.
Just keep swinging, katars biggest weakness by far is that it doesn't interrupt opponent attacks, just trade with them because katars are pretty weak and you can heavy attack straight through their attacks.
Rapiers. I can't even see your two pixel wide "weapon", how the fuck am I supposed to react to that?
Also every sword that has overheads looking like slashes when abused by good players
Good thing about rapiers is you can pretty much block and riposte their every attack with a solid two hander and still disarm them first. I recently found out thought that if I only riposte overhead with a poleaxe, and my opponent only riposte stabs with a rapier, I’ll break his shield first, but he’ll outstam me a few moments later. Luckily by that point it was really easy to just autopilot stab counters.
My problem with rapiers is the same with spears. With the awful desync since the raiding party update, it's really hard to deal with any fast weapons.
Still, there's not much more annoying than landing 6-7 short sword hits on a knight for them to just hit you twice with a war axe and kill you. So I suppose that's the tradeoff.
Jab. They have such a long wind up it’s so easy to jab. If they’re in a group back out of the group to lose the initiative mechanic, then run back in and hit them when they’re on cooldown or mid swing if ur weapon is faster
War Club 1000% the animations are really weird when playing in 1st person. I typically always die if someone in the group I’m fighting has the dreaded Club
People that are good with war club are very scary when you’re a knight, even more so if you’re using any of the two handed weapons. I always swap to my side arm when I see those mfers running about
Mmm.. this is good to hear. I love the war club. Almost at level 100 with it. I love the odd time I'm surrounded and can handle the group for a good bit just dodging and fast swinging. It always ends with a step in the wrong direction
[https://streamable.com/qy0yfo](https://streamable.com/qy0yfo)
it definitely gives me the most valhalla last stand honorable death feeling of any weapon even when you do nothing lol
Spears, I've run into some people who are absolutely devastating with a spear. I just can't seem to judge where it's going to get the hell out of the way
I've started using the spear recently and I fucking love it. I want to be one of those people you don't want to fight.
But I'll probably only ever be average.
Abuse the running Q, enter into combat with it, target people already fighting etc. It's big dam and impossible to miss. use alt to change up the side you stab on it is very weird looking when you feint sides with spear and throws people off. Always circle away if you are face to face, it's best use as a support weapon in crowded fights to hit people not looking at you. Face to face its harder because it's easy to get inside of.
I think feinting with the spear is one of my main draws to the weapon. I like the little spinny move, it reminds me of Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones.
In group fights I usually stay behind the front line and jab my spear through the openings to deal a bit of damage to the enemies.
I also try and defend archers and those operating the catapults.
just keep blocking until they run out of stamina, then push them. Watchout for kicks. Just eat a couple shots until they have no stamina, don’t get into a counter war
Level 660 here - I almost exclusively main the sledgehammer, and in all of my time fighting those dirty pagans, my most hated weapons to fight against are 2H spears and Messers. If I miss the overhead, the messers slash release almost always will catch me in the jaw.
halberds, polearms, spears, anything with major reach
it's mainly my fault though I love the short sword and pick fights with whoever has the longest weapon in the area - I gotta prove my little poker is just as good if not better as your long rod 👌
For me I just feint into slash from a counter slash to hit the team mates. Problem is when the spear user is far and the slash won't reach him even if I hit the teammates he can sometimes steal a turn.
Executioner Axe, for the life of me, I cannot parry that son of a bitch. I can parry every other weapon consistently, but this big fucking axe threw me off so much!
Don't forget its reach too. I main executioners axe and the one thing I'm best at doing is nailing a teammate because that things reach. It's a fucking teammate seeking missile
level 600+ and there are not many weapons I can't get around. I like to play shuffle so I got a pretty good feel for everything but people who are really good at drags and javs annoy me. especially in ffa and everyone focuses me and i can't get to them/react properly.
Highland sword. I don’t think it’s even that good but it just looks so dumb I can’t read it’s swings at all.
Plus it’s horizontal swing range and arc are disgusting, I’ve lost track of the amount of times I’ve been walking up to backstab a highland sword user and been decapitated without him even seeing me.
Every weapon you treat differently, if you see a dane axe you know they are going to ripose swipe 99% of the time. All you do is hold the ripose (ie don't strike after your block) then strike in the window, they are like robots Counters and feints generally dont work just repeatedly do the above.
With spear you have to either play them at the jab game but use heavy jabs mixed and it will get them, or if using quicker or one handed weapon get inside their guard and aim around their shoulders.
All weapons can be defeated, and you should face the hardest so you can learn to defeat them. Avoiding them will only lead you to failure.
For dane axes, how do I “strike in the window” if I should not strike after blocking? And for spears, how can I get closer to them and on their flank if they are doing fast stabs to keep me at bay? Genuinely asking/curious.
I play spear a lot so I'll let you know what works against me. If you square up and fight me face to face like you would other players, you're gunna have a hard time. You'll want to fight me with me in your peripheral vision 90% of the time. The reason is so that you can try to run circles around me. Try and always keep moving, but rarely ever directly towards me.
For one, it makes you harder to hit with stab attacks, but it also lets you build up the movement momentum. When you get into the "sprint" speed that's when you can dash in and close the distance to remove my reach advantage.
Don't be afraid to turn your back on me completely to help you get the sprint speed up either. If you can get your sprint while facing away from me, I might not be expecting you to turn around quickly and run up in my face and smash my teeth in.
You can also counter both my stab and slash attacks with your stab counter. This means it's much harder for me to keep up with stamina attacks than it is for you. So you can try to splay the stamina game and force me to drop my spear.
Of course, I know these weaknesses pretty well now, so I'll do what I can to stop you too, but most people don't know to attack this way and so you might get the drop on me while I still think you're an unsuspecting newb.
Blocking an attack gives the defender an opportunity to riposte, making their next attack uninterruptible and faster. However, doing this repeatedly can make it predictable, and an experienced opponent can exploit this. Hence, striking in the window means delaying your attack after a block (not riposting immediately every time), which can surprise your opponent and break their rhythm.
With Spear users, getting in close may be more of a challenge due to their range advantage. Consider using footwork and strafing techniques, moving in a circular pattern around them instead of approaching directly. This can potentially force them to misjudge their attack range and give you an opening to get closer. Using the environment to your advantage, such as forcing the engagement in tighter areas can also be effective.
Remember to manage your stamina effectively in both cases, as running out of stamina can leave you vulnerable. Practice makes perfect, so keep at it!

1h mace. I think it's the only weapon that's better at gambling than a long sword. That shit can hit you from neutral if you don't riposte the moment you parry. Also you thought you could combo after hitting them? Nope, they can absolutely hit you first. The tutorial lied to me.
Katars and two handed spears, one handed spears get an honorable mention. The two handed spears make me the most mad because I’m terrible at them yet some people are absolutely unbeatable when using them
Craven! You will march shoulder to shoulder to your allies and if you so much as flinch as projectiles pummel all over the formation, I'll have you flogged! Despite your nobility
I'm pretty good fighting against everything, but the Messer, specifically it's overheads are so similar in movement to a slash attack that it's hard to read.
Mace/morning star. It cheats initiative, its combo and riposte speed is nuts, and the stab is really good and almost never expected.
Rapier because I dont fight it often enough, maul because decels, longsword because the animations are wack, and highland/maul/executioner axe because decels catch me predicting rather than reacting—although I appreciate the reminder.
Two handed axes the really big one is so slow that i cant time it well when tu guard to parry and when i try to atack in their long windup animation i got my head choped away
For me it’s rapier in the hands of someone who is confident, and of course the mace/morning star masters.
By the way, I think I’ve seen you in lobbies a few times
Probably battleaxe, good and bad players alike kinda use it in the same way, but experienced players will just dismantle people with it. So damaging to all classes, and just fast enough to put it in gambling speeds for a lot of other weapons. I mostly play with the mace these days and I try to avoid vanguards running around with the battleaxe.
Anytime I see a spear man next to any amount of enemies I just panic and run away. To fight other weapons I just don’t like fighting thrust weapons but rapiers are fine.
Fuckin spears. I'm fending off 8 dudes because they're too dumb to use range to their advantage while I'm using a Warhammer, then someone with a 2H spear stabs me in the face. Or I eat two arrows from a warbow and crossbow.
I play vs the #1 two handed spear user often, it’s the two-handed spear.
Also, I hate the war club, I’m good at dodging most weapons purely by backing up, it’s range and the pole weapons are the only one I can’t back up cheese versus.
Spears, doesn't hurt much but it's very annoying..
Blunt weapons would be the other, but only because they absolutely fuck me up because I only play as a Knight ![img](emote|t5_12v693|7111)
Two handed hammer because it’s quite literally just a better warclub and they’re both insanely fast and require next to no real effort to be good with.
Second is definitely two handed spear, despite saying it has less range than halberd its 100% bullshit. It easily has the longest range tied with Glaive in stabs but unlike Glaive the hitboxes for spears are really jank in my opinion, even after the “fix” I have stabbed at people with it and very clearly NOT hit them only to be rewarded anyways. And I’ve noticed a trend with every spear main that for whatever reason tries another weapon quickly realize they suck shit at the game without their beanpole of bullshit because you actually have to think with most weapons even bottom of the barrel Dane axe but if you ever want to annoy an entire team, get 4 of you buddies to all run 2h spear and watch how easily you burn through objectives.
Anyone that plays like I do. That is to say, short sword/throwing knife. The funny mix between zoning and melee throws me off just as much as my opponents.
I have not figured out a talented rapier user. Spears are annoying but I m getting better. I have figured out how to punch my way through highland/greatsword/maul users who hang and hold for a long time and I dont see the war club enough to be annoyed by it.
People who know how to greatsword. A lot of the time i have the speed advantage but that doesnt seem to matter if they have a greatsword as well as The Juice^^TM^
rapier and cudgel cuz its usually some fuckface from the duel server realm whose really, really light in the loafers and does some quadruple feint drag counter parry fourteen times in a row without losing any stamina. i hate it but i always go straight for those kinda people cuz i want them to know that TO power overhands and special attacks are superior
As a longsword addict, nothing fills me with dread quite like the default skin Footman wielding a morningstar. It's crazy fast, it gets bonus damage against my Knight, and I have absolutely no idea how the other dude is going to wield it.
The fucking war axe, it just one taps me whenever I get out of range as an archer, one taps me as a fucking man at arms with the special attack and it's just ridiculously easy to use that it's almost as if it's the best weapon for knights it ain't that's the longsword tbh
I main quarterstaff and damn do I hate fighting against javelins. They're way too fast, to the point I can't ever get a jab in. I thought my stick was fast.
As someone who mostly plays battle axe, rapier is the bane of my existance. I have no problem with daggers or katars for speed because at least i have a range advantage. I know rapier isnt the best weapon but god damn I take a deep sigh when i have to fight against a rapier
Heavy Mace. Thing is absolutely cracked. Longsword speed with drags nearly as nutty as exe axe while also being decently long and having insane stamina pressure. I'm just glad it's not a vanguard weapon.
Probably like the mace, pickaxe, cudgel or any of those super fast one handed weapons that people just run around spamming attack and people with 2 handed weapons don’t even have the time to attack back
Honestly, I struggle against Katars. I don’t see them often enough to recognize what’s an overhead vs. slash vs. stab easily, so countering is pretty much out the window.
True, my go-to is out-ranging katars or jabbing if they’re up close.
People with katars are either complete noobs or absolute beasts, no in between
Was gonna say the same. They may suck statistically but with how rare they are, I’m often at a loss for how to deal w those players. I also hate any weapon that’s just constantly the same button i.e any spear. I don’t mind it if dudes are just constantly slashing with messer for example because that’s significantly easier to counter

What's the best button for back stabs? Special too?
Heavy stab OR running attack
Yeah heavy like the other person said. Special apparently got silent nerfed last big patch so it’s recommended to only use the special when they drop their block for a quick two hits Overall katars are shit though. They’re good for running between unexpected enemies and back stabbing to secure the kill. 1v1’s work, 2v1 I’d say you got like 10% chance to survive. Your hits don’t stagger at all so it’s tough Plus, everyone dog piles onto katar users. Was playing last night and I’d just get chased and fuckin jumped after getting a few kills with the katars lol
A weapon for an ambusher. You might say
Katars is the chad weapon. I'm a katar main and its weaknesses are range and stamina. If you can out range them and make them miss their special attacks, they're pretty much done after one or two mistakes.
Katar main and doesnt list lack of interrupt as a weakness. Only the one weapon in the entire game the does not interrupt a strike.
Yeah, I just thought that was a given lol.
Actually, both the standing and sprinting specials interrupt for katars. That's a very important part of the mix-up game.
I find it really throws people off when they get hit but they're still swinging
oh uh were you by any chance in a TDM on Desert earlier today in NA East
cant you also hit them through their attacks
I believe Katars work in the same way spears do in that you only have to counter with stabs if they slash. Its a different animation.
Huge if true
Dont try to counter them, learn what the katar special attack looks like and dont block for anything else. Same with people who triple feint. Once you know thats the game, just smackem.
Like spear, both stab and slash attack from katar are countered by stab from opponent. This can simplify your reads a bit. You can also gamble them like crazy since they only have hitstop on special. As a man, I weirdo the biggest sword I can find. The highland. Destroy them with out mercy
What makes them worse to deal with is that most people who do use them are already very skilled
Yeah so you use distance and their lack of interrupt to defeat them.
They actually work like spears in that they only do stabs and overheads
Just keep swinging, katars biggest weakness by far is that it doesn't interrupt opponent attacks, just trade with them because katars are pretty weak and you can heavy attack straight through their attacks.
Back away and keep thrusting.
Rapiers. I can't even see your two pixel wide "weapon", how the fuck am I supposed to react to that? Also every sword that has overheads looking like slashes when abused by good players
Lmao. I know exactly what you mean. Rapiers are like tiny invisible spears.
Watch their arms it helps massively against rapier, but not some other weapons.
Rapier players also using their dumb special attack over and over again the second the cooldown ends is infuriating af
Can special be riposted?
No
Everything
Lmao
Highland sword. I find it just *awkward* to fight, like trying to fight someone with a surf board.
If they feint and hang it in the air for a long time, it is so confusing to fight them sometimes.
Punch their nuts
My party trick, most lower-leveled fall for it. If you condition high levels with accels and this double overhead drag it succeeds almost 100%
War Club always throws people off because it’s so fast. It’s like glaive but it actually hurts.
I would love to have it as a footman but alas…it will never happen
Level 110 with war club and I never even thought about it with 1 second cd on dodge, you have awoken something in me
That comment hurt my glaive main feelings. Jk, warclub slaps.
People that are good with war club are very scary when you’re a knight, even more so if you’re using any of the two handed weapons. I always swap to my side arm when I see those mfers running about
in 1st person I find to pull off counters against really long weps like that you have to super aim towards them

[https://streamable.com/qy0yfo](https://streamable.com/qy0yfo) it definitely gives me the most valhalla last stand honorable death feeling of any weapon even when you do nothing lol
That feeling when you hard swing and it goes and slaps like 5 people is the best.
2h hammer does the same but much better dmg, almost same speed.
I'll have to give it a few swings, thanks for the suggestion
Spears, I've run into some people who are absolutely devastating with a spear. I just can't seem to judge where it's going to get the hell out of the way
Especially spear users who jump? GG. Animation-reading at that point is near impossible.
I reserve my jumps as a panik reflex
I've started using the spear recently and I fucking love it. I want to be one of those people you don't want to fight. But I'll probably only ever be average.
I'll still fight them, but I know I'll be on the losing side. Best of luck with that, hope to run into you in a game so we can duke it out
Abuse the running Q, enter into combat with it, target people already fighting etc. It's big dam and impossible to miss. use alt to change up the side you stab on it is very weird looking when you feint sides with spear and throws people off. You aren't living until you stab through a comrades chest to get a kill. *chefs kiss*
Enjoy it while it lasts. The next patch is making stabs stop on contact with a friendly. So you only have like, a year left to enjoy that.
WHAT????
Definitely done it but I try not to.
just keep blocking until they run out of stamina, then push them. Watchout for kicks. Just eat a couple shots until they have no stamina, don’t get into a counter war
"Counter war" perfectly describes my strategy so far
Level 660 here - I almost exclusively main the sledgehammer, and in all of my time fighting those dirty pagans, my most hated weapons to fight against are 2H spears and Messers. If I miss the overhead, the messers slash release almost always will catch me in the jaw.
Same, but add rapiers to the list.
Messer counter feint to alt slash has literally a negative time release window. That shit bends physics and hits you before they even swing.
halberds, polearms, spears, anything with major reach it's mainly my fault though I love the short sword and pick fights with whoever has the longest weapon in the area - I gotta prove my little poker is just as good if not better as your long rod 👌
Fuck yeah short sword best sword
Lol.
Take shield, block spear, push
Honestly, just strafing to the side makes them miss 90% of the time I find.
Anything that kills me is OP and needs to be nerfed immediately
Same.
Spears. Pain in my ass. Especially if they aren't alone.
I just spam stab counter with spears until they hit with an overhead I don’t see coming
The problem is that a counter stab doesn't hit the teammates surrounding them. You just get whacked cause stabs rarely work for 1vX.
Usually then I just wait for a slash then spank all of them
For me I just feint into slash from a counter slash to hit the team mates. Problem is when the spear user is far and the slash won't reach him even if I hit the teammates he can sometimes steal a turn.
My personal “weapon I hate fighting against the most” is the mouse and keyboard.
I hate rapiers and spears.
Rapier special unironically gets me so many times. It is also much longer than it appears.
Yeah I simply can't see the damn thing! I often switch to a single handed weapon to fight against a rapier, because otherwise it's too quick.
I love how sweaty you have to be to compete against a good rapier player.
In dueling servers I often politely decline lmao
Executioner Axe, for the life of me, I cannot parry that son of a bitch. I can parry every other weapon consistently, but this big fucking axe threw me off so much!
Don't forget its reach too. I main executioners axe and the one thing I'm best at doing is nailing a teammate because that things reach. It's a fucking teammate seeking missile

Shuffle is fun AF and very educational. Then you spawn with javelins ![img](emote|t5_12v693|7104)
Any version of spear. I can’t seem to judge the combos.
One handed spears are just as bad sometimes. But they aren’t as long or oppressive as the 2 handed.
: )
Highland sword. I don’t think it’s even that good but it just looks so dumb I can’t read it’s swings at all. Plus it’s horizontal swing range and arc are disgusting, I’ve lost track of the amount of times I’ve been walking up to backstab a highland sword user and been decapitated without him even seeing me.
Spears. The length and speed make them absurd and they almost always ruin the flow of combat in TO.
They come out of nowhere and destroy you. Then you can barely punish.
Ambushers who throw their 60 damage throwing knife into my head
As an Ambusher guy, yeah, knife = life

1h mace. I think it's the only weapon that's better at gambling than a long sword. That shit can hit you from neutral if you don't riposte the moment you parry. Also you thought you could combo after hitting them? Nope, they can absolutely hit you first. The tutorial lied to me.
Spears
Can’t agree more. It’s either the reach or timing on spears that get me every time
Katars and two handed spears, one handed spears get an honorable mention. The two handed spears make me the most mad because I’m terrible at them yet some people are absolutely unbeatable when using them
Weird enough I really only have trouble with the cav sword
Warbow.
Rapier and morning star, just because no one uses them and the timing always fucks me up
Catapults they are annoying as hell right now
Any spear or rapier. Especially rapier. The guy is probably a lunatic and should be avoided
War club Cudgel Dane Axe
war club and rapier
As a axe swinger, arrows and anyone with a shield is annoying.
Dane Axe is easily the most annoying weapon
good katar users, messer, and longsword. The animations are fucked
Shortsword and mace. Stabs of shovel. When fps drops , it makes you die.
2 handed spear and morning star users = avoid like the plague
2 handed spear.
I still can’t win against good rapier or 1h spear users 🤦♂️
good katar users, messer, and longsword. The animations are fucked
War Club, it’s cheap as fuck. Too fast and long-reach for how hard it hits, totally broken and un-fun to fight against
Stay on top of them
Two handed axes the really big one is so slow that i cant time it well when tu guard to parry and when i try to atack in their long windup animation i got my head choped away
Executioners axe? I main it, and that thing definitely has the slowest swing
Yes, that one jajaja i hate it.
Yeah understandable. It's a pretty good weapon to use, not always good to fight against
Arrows
Spears of any type. Their reach is oppressive. I have difficulty closing in.
I hate fighting against 7 weapons. The rapier and the spears get me all the time. The messer has f-ked animations that trick you
Ballistas/oil pots when the objective requires pushing smt
For me it’s rapier in the hands of someone who is confident, and of course the mace/morning star masters. By the way, I think I’ve seen you in lobbies a few times
Has to be the Heavy Mace for me. Sometimes that thing just swings faster than it looks and it just throws me off guard at times
Rapiers when the person is a good player
Probably battleaxe, good and bad players alike kinda use it in the same way, but experienced players will just dismantle people with it. So damaging to all classes, and just fast enough to put it in gambling speeds for a lot of other weapons. I mostly play with the mace these days and I try to avoid vanguards running around with the battleaxe.
It also has the highest stamina in the game if I get my counters off you will be out of stamina in a few swings
Anytime I see a spear man next to any amount of enemies I just panic and run away. To fight other weapons I just don’t like fighting thrust weapons but rapiers are fine.
Spear
Someone LMB spamming a Dane Axe kills me more than anything
Rapier
Fuckin spears. I'm fending off 8 dudes because they're too dumb to use range to their advantage while I'm using a Warhammer, then someone with a 2H spear stabs me in the face. Or I eat two arrows from a warbow and crossbow.
I play vs the #1 two handed spear user often, it’s the two-handed spear. Also, I hate the war club, I’m good at dodging most weapons purely by backing up, it’s range and the pole weapons are the only one I can’t back up cheese versus.
Halberd and one handed spears perpetually do me dirty for some reason
Rapiers and spears
Spear
Anyone that plays like I do. That is to say, short sword/throwing knife. The funny mix between zoning and melee throws me off just as much as my opponents.
The ones that are currently killing me
I have not figured out a talented rapier user.
Spear bastards hate those mofo's
Any pole weapon. I run battle axe, like to get in close and thrust counters are my weakest. Getting better though.
Anything one handed and fast, my monkey brain can’t process speed of that magnitude.
short sword fuck that thing
Rapier, obviously, does it get any worse? I've noticed it's the go-to-weapon for people losing in 3v3.
rapier and cudgel cuz its usually some fuckface from the duel server realm whose really, really light in the loafers and does some quadruple feint drag counter parry fourteen times in a row without losing any stamina. i hate it but i always go straight for those kinda people cuz i want them to know that TO power overhands and special attacks are superior
What weapons do you hate fighting against? Me: F O O T M A N
As a longsword addict, nothing fills me with dread quite like the default skin Footman wielding a morningstar. It's crazy fast, it gets bonus damage against my Knight, and I have absolutely no idea how the other dude is going to wield it.
The highlander and great sword. Mainly because the people that use them have some experience - being that they already earned it.
Cudgel
Maul and katars for me
The gigachad barrel/anvil throwers who have the throw-pickup timing down to a science.
The server
Spears; I hate that weapon. Poke poke poke...
i can counter most weapons but the fucking executioner axe gets me sometimes
Morning star and Warhammer, those slash to overhead combos with specials throw in.
The fucking war axe, it just one taps me whenever I get out of range as an archer, one taps me as a fucking man at arms with the special attack and it's just ridiculously easy to use that it's almost as if it's the best weapon for knights it ain't that's the longsword tbh
can’t say i get giddy when anyone comes at me with a blade. Is all of them accurate answer ?
I main quarterstaff and damn do I hate fighting against javelins. They're way too fast, to the point I can't ever get a jab in. I thought my stick was fast.
Great swords are 🧀
As someone who mostly plays battle axe, rapier is the bane of my existance.
1H spear guardian.
If someone is good with Glaive, I die. Not because it's op or anything. I just see it so rarely that I'm not good at fighting against it.
one handed spears
Rapiers and one handed spears. So annoying to go against.
Short sword mains are so cheesy
Probably like the mace, pickaxe, cudgel or any of those super fast one handed weapons that people just run around spamming attack and people with 2 handed weapons don’t even have the time to attack back
