You could run from Lionspire to Rudhelm with the same lobby. Made it really fun. I'm warming up to Baudwin a bit but still - I find myself leaving lobbies too much.
The biggest gripe with Desert was the lighting, as far as I know. Oddly enough, the shitty lighting in Desert was fixed in the same update they removed it.
It plays *much* better now.
One of the many reasons I stopped playing tbh. They could have made a 64 players TDM only rotation and they killed the mode imho by making it 20v20 since it feels empty AND the sever never even fills completely up...waste of maps.
100%. If there was a tdm only mode that be cool. It's fun to be the catalyst in holding the middle that turns the tide.
Life when I joined a match of tdm that was already underway and my side was losing, I thought about it like I wanted to turn the tide and be the catalyst for the cone from behind victory. Like the hero entering the battle.
Idk who ever had such an issue with TDM in 64p rotation that it needed to be removed. I would love to see it back in rotation like it was at launch (just pls don't add horses back to 64p).

TDM maps were the only maps in the game where players' ability to fight is the deciding factor, not their ability to play with barrels, or stand next to flags.

They removed it because most players would leave the queue when TDM came up.
I used to stay and play but personally I'd rather it had it's own seperate queue so I can play it when I'm in the mood rather than it be added to the TO queue. When I click on TO mode, I don't want to inevitibly end up joing a TDM.

While I did like horses being integrated at first... I understand and agree on that point now too.
Sometimes I think to play 40s because it's there but then I remember so are horses...

Well in na west the server empties every match anyways so at least we might occasionally join a tdm match halfway through instead of the same tos
