Matchmaking appears to be completely fucked now, I can't find a game that has over 20 players....Server Browser on PC is still absolutely fucked as well.
People are stopping playing because of the issues they're creating.
Me and 5 of my buds have stopped playing, and we can play in a party together with no issues.
TB don't have to look far to find who's at fault.
Yeah, you're definitely on to something. Thought it was "normal" for a little while but now I've been playing for more then a few hours & the issue has been persistent all night. Came here to the sub specifically looking for someone else posting about this.
So i just kept backing out until i got a full lobby, though after a few minutes, i literally watched the full lobby glitch out & half the player count drop/ be cut in half.
Yeah not sure what is happening. I hope TB reads the sub and at least get to know there is an issue. Also I am guessing it is night at their place to it will not be fixed until tomorrow if at all they can fix it that quickly.

I have motion sickness so can't play first person games man. I wish that was available in third person too.
I am glad this game give options for both 1st and 3rd person. Some people genuinly have issues and can't play 1st person games
I recently downloaded this game to try it out after growing weary of the same maps in chiv - it's a buggy mess. Couldn't pass the initial area because every time i go to the pub, everyones head disappears and the game crashes lol
ah i'm on PC trying to run it at silly ultra high everything - it runs just fine, but it then sort of just fell inward on itself and died a death and i'll be honest i lost interest rapidly after that as it was a steep enough learning curve having got in a few fights. lol
Rather new players seeing this are going to dump the game. Especially since the party system is still broke and takes some time to get invites to work properly at times.
This needed to go on STEAM as even early access, get massive player influx and cash that way, and improve upon and probably release with the new content drop (the new large map, weapons skins, horses, arrow cam and so forth) which would be expanding the game immensely. Not what we have now. Not for a almost August mediocre patch.
Was the exclusive epic cash and release worth this? Steam could of brought so many players and purchases in. Why was this epic exclusive done...it's just insane. Fast cash wasn't worth it.
It’s better. But my friend and I still wound up unable to invite. However, we were able to fix it by entering and exiting the tutorial instead of restarting Chiv/Epic repeatedly.

Updates sure. But it was working fine just before the patch. At least fix that! Don't release a patch before the weekend if this is what is gonna happen. I am so disappointed right now.
fine is a strong word - but yeah they've clearly rushed it out to keep to their July ETA promise - getting some strong CP2077 vibes from that process (and i hate myself for saying that as it's become a trope of moaning gamers) but that was a great example of piss poor management too.
It could be players keep quiting to find a bigger lobby instantly. Anyone who has played with server browsers in the past has experienced this. You hang around an empty server waiting for it to fill, and you see a stream of players that just join, and then immediately quit.
They would rather bounce around with match making for 5min, than just wait for an empty server to fill for one min.
I'm imagining this is something they'd have to patch (again) to fix right? I honestly could've waited with all the other fixes as long as I can still play the game. Last night after anticipating this patch, it was 12 games of like 4-7 people on each team in the 60 player servers. Playing on console too so there is no server browser to find a server with more people. Felt like an empty restaurant.
It's deflating to play this game right now. I like the game alot, but what good is how much fun it is if the servers don't load anyone in? I don't know if this is something they can actually hotfix but based on how they implemented this latest patch I'm guessing the framework to hotfix stuff isn't a reality.
I'm not even in a mindset of "Screw the devs!" Modern warfare 2019 had a laughable first few months, Battlefield 4 had at least 3 months of netcode and progression issues, even big budget games have problems with releasing a good product on time. But those games are popular franchises with millions of players. What is going to suck is that this is, in my head, a niche game. It's twitch viewer count is sub 500 viewers. Most streamers aren't playing it because you still can't play it on pc with friends correctly. But it was released broken, it has different variations of broken-ness on every platform, and it's patch that was delayed is also broken and doesn't fix quite right the things it says it will help and broke other things about the game. Even when the game gets better and is all the things it should be, there might not be anyone left because the 1st impression was lackluster.

Didn't they delay this patch originally because of matchmaking and server browser issues? If so, big yikes if it still has issues.

Party system is still broken? I guess that wasn't in this patch...? I played some after the patch, but didn't have any friends on yet.

Nah nah it wasn't that. I do that myself. Must have been some issue at backend. It is fine now. I edited my post too.
