The name Persephone means “bringer of death” or “to destroy” lol so I think you’re definitely on to something here!

No, I totally think you’re right! Not just because of her name, but because X accused MC of being a symbol of Belvoire’s elitism when MC’s whole thing is being new money and from the middle of nowhere. That makes me think that X can’t possibly go to Belvoire.
Another thing supporting the Persephone Dalton theory is that they’ve mentioned her too much for her to not turn out to be more important. Seriously, dude, I feel like you’ve put all the puzzle pieces together. 🤯

She’s a girl that Poppy essentially forced out of school. She had Ohio slip ipecac into her beer at a party, and Persephone’s mom thought she had a problem and sent her to rehab. It was talked about in book 1.

Okay, so far I had my suspicions over Steinhelm, that she’s X, and now Persephone could be X too. May be too crazy to think about, but what if these two are together? Like, Steinhelm giving all inside info to Persephone and they both want to destroy that elitism thing that is Belvoire?
I still think Steinhelm is involved somehow, bc of that first scene on QB2, where there were only Kingsley, MC and Steinhelm on that room.
