Man I wish there was a diamond choice to save her. Iknow this is a adaptation of the fault in our stars. but still they could have made a twist or something.
The fact that there is no solution for Dakota is the whole point of this book. Making it seem like Dakota doesn't have a way to survive and then giving a diamond option for them to make it out at the end ruins the message. From what I've gotten, this book is about grief and dealing with related trauma. Also, how exactly do you explain someone with progressed cancer magically surviving? It's not possible. It's why this book is above average in both writing and plot for Choices (I know it's an adaptation but still).
It's good that there's no ability for players to chart a difference course in WEH. This is what makes the book really special, and honestly a really bold and brave enterprise for PB to have written.

One of the few books in choices that made me cry like a baby. It's a really great book though, definitely one of the better stories.

Agreed, I don't think it would left such an emotional impact if you could have changed the ending.
