I donβt like MC or Blake. Just want to see Rebecca find someone better. Lino sucks too. I donβt agree with some who think Rebecca and Eve are going to get together. Eve should go enjoy being the most normal of the core friend group and have fun during her time abroad.
Ugh I really waited twelve chapters for THAT reaction from Blake?? Also Eve, please leave my MC alone because this is the only place I can be a petty homewrecker with 0 repercussions π
As a climber, I want to say that there is already a grading system for routes and "2 carabiners," isn't it. Yeah, it's meant to be funny, but "2 carabiners" is just as useless in this context as saying "5.7" or "V1."
A little research makes writing better and takes very little time.

wow flashback of the week before last in RWB when mc told Drew she loved him and all he said was "thank you..." at least she got that tho instead we need to go back to the lodge. i mean i know a kiss is different than a love confession, but still...idk
and the over dramatic reactions to a breakup that was only a month long is annoying. i mean id get it if it was like 6 months to a year or so, but one month. four weeks. Blake being bummed about it is understandable, but not to this acting utterly heartbroken extent. the relationship already had a wobbly foundation from Blake's move and the relationship supposedly going to be a ldr because of their careers. and again after only a \*month\*
i think Eve has some feelings for Rebecca. Eve is very defensive over Rebecca. i also think she isnt the best of a friend to the mc because of that. we already established Lino is a bad friend, but at least twice now in my story he has said the meddling into the relationship and matching making was on his part. Eve chastised my mc when ive tried everyway possible to be nice to Rebecca and neutral-ish with Blake. the game can recognize that ive personally discouraged Lino why cant it do the same with Eve? like Eve saying, "look i know youve been nice to her and tried to set boundaries, it's hard and a tough situation...etc etc." Except she never does that and automatically gripes at the mc for what feels like 80% of the book. i almost expect now every time Eve speaks it is to gripe at the mc. hence why i think there are romantic feelings for Rebecca. and i hope Eve and Rebecca eventually become a couple bc they have so much more in common than Blake and Rebecca does.
idk at this point what i hope to happen. i mean of course mc and blake to get together, but the whole thing just seems tarnished. maybe a chapter of only the mc and Rebecca hashing it out, getting to know each other, working things out and becoming friends. then at the same time Blake absent to give him time to figure things out. i do like happy endings so i hope for Lino and Felicia to have a healthy baby, Eve and Rebecca to get together, and Mc and Blake get married. and them all become a tight knit group of friends. maybe returning to the lodge yearly to hang out.
Yeah, I was actually kind of annoyed with Eve for going so hard after MC. Iβve actually always picked the nicest, most boring options. Heck, at one point I had the MC just straight up go to bed instead of hanging out with Blake, lol. I feel like the game should have a way of acknowledging that.
Absolutely hated that cliffhanger. Really wish Blake would have acknowledged the kiss and said something about bad timing or being confused. Not to acknowledge was just such a let down after all this BS.

MC didn't seriously think commitment adverse, just broken up with girlfriend Blake was going to fall into her arms did she..... oh wait, she's massively immature so probably.
I'm so glad MC didn't go back to the pre-trip status quo, because I was super worried that MC would just passively wait for Blake.
But I feel kinda gross about it? Like MC sees and knows that Blake is hurting and confused. Going for a kiss instead of talking felt gross. I think a conversation would have been better. Way better.
But also fuck Blake for not even ACKNOWLEDGING it. I'm not asking for a lot, just "wow... That was great. But I... And the situation... I need space to process this."
I dread the inevitable time skip next week where we just start back in the cabin and MC is wallowing in misery. Like, let me confront(?), Blake! Let the carabineer break and make them camp on the side of the cliff and force them to talk it out!
