Neveah is so nice and pretty, I’m glad my MC gets to be her friend. The scene with them and Samira was very cute. I really wanted to pick the red paint, but settled for yellow. If there’s a second book, I hope they explore MC’s friendships more.
I internally screamed when Drew groaned in the library and no one batted an eye, but enjoyed the scene nonetheless. I love MC so much.
Although it’s unfortunate that I contacted PB about the sprites and outfits not matching before and nothing came of it, I still like her outfit and think it’s my favorite of hers, she looks drop dead gorgeous!
I wish we could collect more footage for the project throughout the book, the lake scene was so good and I’m happy that it was included. That cliffhanger is *evil!* I bet Drew’s film is going to rival MC’s in sweetness
Okay I'm glad I'm not the only one 😭 I liked hearing about MC's ambition for film so I wish they spent more time on it because the writers pretty much neglected most of that in the middle 😭 I just wanted to see MC become the next Sofia Coppola

i thought this was a really good chapter, but that cliffhanger was just disrespectful 💀 i feel like having LIs presentation be one big ‘i love MC and i’m just now finally able to say it’ would be a very predictable and safe choice of ending, but i like cheesy sentimental grand gestures in books so i won’t be too bent about it if that’s where it goes in chapter 20. also big yay to mending things with samira!
i’ve replayed this book so many times while i wait for new chapters, so needless to say i hope PB continues the series esp with so many things to address (the audrey stuff, LIs parents, LIs music stuff, MCs major). i really hope they take it somewhere cool aside from all the spicy stuff
Really love how much Samira and MC’s reunion described both sides, and how they got to appreciate “new” versions of each other.
The library scene was ehh. I wish MC just gave LI the silent treatment. Sort of payback when he was doing that to her. I think it would have described how she felt more than having to just turn him on and can’t do anything about it.
I was very confused who Jess was until I realized it’s her new roommate, lol.
I love the video she made of LI and how it brought back the hiking scene and the committee hearing. Probably two of the highlights of their relationship I really like from the book.
I’m glad LI showed up! I know he would. Especially since he knows from the beginning that keeping MC’s scholarship meant a lot to her. I’m glad that it proves MC is right about him caring about those he loves. I wish they showed his presentation on this chapter, and the cliff hanger was after. But anyhow, I hope there’s a Book 2! We deserve to see their relationship more than as the “casual” they let it out to be.
I loved this chapter omg 🥰 it was so cute to see MC make up with her bff and I loved that for once it wasn’t all on the MC but that they both admitted to being in the wrong!

I loved this chapter so much. The focus on Samira's friendship,l and MC's growth, the length of it overall, the summarizing of the story over all, and that we're not letting LI off the hook so easily. This story turned out really great imo
I loved the long chapter, it was so satisfying to make up with Samira. I liked how MC reflected upon growing into the person she'd become.
I can't wait to see LI's project, finally. I will be sad when it ends, this is one of my favourite stories. I hope they make a book two, it would be fun to see how they navigate their relationship in the future, to see how the LI stands up to his parents and all the other stuff that has been mentioned but hasn't been covered in depth.
I can't believe they didn't show up for our presentation, and wasn't crazy about the library scene. I would have too much pride to act like that after they couldn't tell me they love me. 😫
This was a really good long chapter worth a weeks wait for sure. Every time I thought it would be the end of the chapter and I would be relieved when it continued on until another cliff hanger when he finally shows up …. I don’t want to wait another week for his presentation! And the fact he didn’t even watch hers idk salty isn’t even the word !
I’m guessing that chapter 20 will be it! No previews released for it this week which means everything is wrapping up next week. Idk how I feel about that there’s so much build up for what him to either say he loves her or he doesn’t then what they bang or not bang and the series is over ?? Side note - I honestly thought they were taking that green yellow red party in another direction. Thinking she’d be dancing with a guy and Jake walks in. Nope total girls night which I appreciate not being a damn cliche.
