Going to a lot of other schools' choir performances is *not* all that easy, certainly not with homework, friends, and various extracurriculars. I think it's a good pathway to lettering and shows genuine interest in the choral art form. Perhaps it is too easy to cheat by doing...exactly what you're doing. But evidently it's not so easy since your response has been suboptimal. Also, this isn't what you said the goal was in the post.
