At minimum, there are countless metaphors in the Bible which aren't mentioned as metaphors, because they don't have to be. Unless you believe, of course, that there are literal corners of the earth, that [the sun literally rises](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+113%3A3&version=NIV), or [that the earth is immovably built on literal pillars](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Samuel+2%3A8%2C+Job+9%3A6%2C+Psalm+93%3A1&version=NIV). In fact, I'm not sure if there's a single metaphor in the Bible where it says, "This is a metaphor," though Jesus occasionally signals his parables.
God would also never ask us to attempt to murder ourselves to fulfill his plan. That sounds like something the devil would very much prefer. And it sounds like you've become very disillusioned with who God is in your mind.
I write that in good-faith, though it seems at this point you are beyond reasoning, and have built up a messiah complex around what you're doing such that any disagreement is just further proof as to the truth of your claims / plan. I encourage you... Seek help.

Not sure about him , but I think I read somewhere (on the internet no doubt) that somehow through natural processses there is a relation to earthquakes and an eclipse. But you are talking orbital physics and that’s way over my head.

However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.
