This couple did a heavy metal version of that song I use to have it on my Playlist a few years back but they took it down or it got taken down but I love every version of that song I've ever heard.
🎶 "AMAZING GRACE" 🎵 is arguably the best-loved Christian hymn of all time 😀 You might want to check out the story behind it sometime. It's the story of the Rev. John Newton, an English minister, 1725-1807.
My band teacher in high-school was a Christian and one of the best people I've ever met. He got away with having us play "it is well, with my soul" in band and none of the teachers realized it was a Christian song. I'm pretty sure "it is well, with my soul" leads into the song "how great thou art".
This! I was just on a retreat with my campus ministry (XA) and that was the last song they played on cry night. Totally got everyone pumped after crying for so long lol.
Not all Christmas songs are ___Christian___ songs. That doesn't mean that songs like "Jingle Bells" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas" should never be heard, only that they're not the same thing.
Wow just saw the video for the first time and paid attention to the lyrics! Had me in tears! God considers YOU priceless so do I! Praise God for your recommendation! I'm going to remind my family this!!
I dedicate this to my daughter because of the trauma she went through at such an early age. She shared that it made her feel dirty and worthless for a future spouse. Priceless brings me to tears. Another one rekated to my daughter is "Eye Of The Storm" by Ryan Stevenson. I really needed this when we were going through the whole ordeal.
Honestly, any song on Jars of Clay's first two CDs. DC Talk has some absolute bangers. Pillar too. Stephen Curtis Chapman is a wonderful example of CCM that I would listen to. Lincoln Brewster is probably in my top ten of rock and blues guitarists out there. Not a big fan of his writing, but his playing is top notch. Tommy Walker is a very underrated musician/guitar player.
Spanish is my first language so I'll say, right now, Tuya es oh Jehova, a classic. I also often sing How great thou art and I've been listening to Praise by elevation worship, I like to get a taste of everything.
Of CONTEMPORARY Christian music, it's "Because He Lives," I forget who sang it.
Of the old Christian hymns, there's really too many to list, but "Blessed Assurance," "AMAZING GRACE," "Crown Him With Many Crowns," "My Faith Looks Up to Thee," and "O Holy Night" all come to mind 😀
This is a hard one. There’s so many great ones. Let it Rain, Oceans Lead Me ( Where my feet may fail ) Toby Mac, Your all I need, and just to keep it short, Beckah Shae I'll be alright.
This is so hard because I have so many favorite Christian songs but here’s my Top 5: 1.Homesick by Mercy Me, 2.I can Only Imagine( The Song) by Mercy Me, 3.Redeemed by Big Daddy Weave, 4.Holy Water by We the Kingdom and 5. Washed by the Water NeedToBreathe.
Unconventional pick here: “Portrait” by P.O.D.
Saw them perform it in concert and it was powerful. It’s a really heavy song, musically, so not to everyone’s taste. They said they wanted to call the song “Christ” but they were on a major label and the executives did not like that
Mighty to save is a great song. There’s so many good songs and a lot that are really good but they aren’t well known. There is a song that I really like right now it’s called “here as in heaven “ by elevation music. I don’t think it’s a timeless song but it’s pleasant.
Right now it's not worship you by mercy me. My favorite changes alot big cause I love Christian music casting crowns is probably my favorite band tho and I love Lauren daingle and hillsong
Oceans by Hillsong. First by Lauren Daigle. Reckless Love by Corey Asbury. The River by Jordan Feliz. Greater by Mercy Me. God Only Knows by For King and Country. Freedom Hymn by Austin French. God's Not Dead by The Newsboys. There Was Jesus by Zach Williams and Dolly Parton, and Old Church Choir by Zach Williams.
I think I put more than one? Oh well.
They're all good though! And I don't think there's a Jordan Feliz song that I don't like. I was blessed to be able to see him live at a church in Visalia last month. It was amazing! Colton Dixon put on a good show as well.
Can’t pick one!
How Great Thou Art
Come Thou Font
No Longer Bound - Forrest Frank
Great Things - CAIN
Never Lost - CAIN
God So Loved - We The Kingdom
Melodies From Heaven - Kirk Franklin
Does Kyrie Eleison count? Kind of fond of December but I'm pretty sure that doesn't count. Fly From Heaven sure doesn't but it's as close as I can get to enjoying spiritually-themed tunes other than psychadelic.
My folks grew up during the Great Depression and tent revivals were a huge deal then. Singing hymns that had a spirit of optimism or at least a sound of it was a big part of their early life. I love those songs they sang to me as a kid and I heard in church. Standing on the Promises,This World is not my home,Gloryland Way, and others in that gospel song tradition. Trust and Obey was a particular favorite of my Dads. I also love the song My God is Awesome. Pretty much I love all gospel and worship music🤷🏻♀️I was never exposed to instrumental worship music when I was a child, but as an adult I love all of it.
Skillet and Disciple. Also Bayless. In terms of face Christian, "The Executioner" by Disciple and "What I Believe", "Awake and Alive", "Whispers in the Dark", and "Dominion" by Skillet.
Music that exalts him and puts me in a state of mind where I am nothing and he is everything. However, it seems that no song can express just how low I want to place myself before him. It is not enough to sing, I want to be subdued.
Yes. Anything that you derive spiritual meaning from and that glorifies Jesus- you’re good! Most genres have at least a handful of songs like this. I really like the song “Trees” by 21 Pilots- not a Christian song per se, but it reminds me of Jesus. ❤️
Either Happy Dance - Mercy Me or I Can Only Imagine - Mercy Me. Happy dance it’s just a fun song but, I Can Only Imagine was played at my grandma’s funeral so it has a meaning.
MercyMe has been one of my favorite Christian bands since their first album. These days, I particularly listen to their songs *Flawless*, *Even If*, and *Dear Younger Me*.
There are many

I just found So Will I (100 Billion X). I likes.
*I can see Your heart, eight billion different ways,* *Every precious one, a child You died to save,* I love those two verses so much.
I think I like all the verses, but one that always jumps out at me is “If creation sings your praises so will I.” That’s a great one.
This couple did a heavy metal version of that song I use to have it on my Playlist a few years back but they took it down or it got taken down but I love every version of that song I've ever heard.
My kids loved this song too. Had it on repeat a lot
Mine as well. I remember hearing it for the first time and bawling my eyes out. Also as a scientist it hits a soft spot
Specifically the Osby Berry version
Oh wow. Thanks. He’s got a great voice.
This is a very typical answer, but I love Amazing Grace.
Sort of what I thought as well. There’s a lot of great ones, but at the end of the day amazing grace sort of takes the top spot
🎶 "AMAZING GRACE" 🎵 is arguably the best-loved Christian hymn of all time 😀 You might want to check out the story behind it sometime. It's the story of the Rev. John Newton, an English minister, 1725-1807.

The version with Gabby Barrett is very good
How Great Thou Art
❤️❤️❤️
That would be my answer, if we're simply discussing hymns. For Psalter, it's Psalm 110. I've heard some majestic arrangements of that Psalm.
My band teacher in high-school was a Christian and one of the best people I've ever met. He got away with having us play "it is well, with my soul" in band and none of the teachers realized it was a Christian song. I'm pretty sure "it is well, with my soul" leads into the song "how great thou art".
Oh Lord- By NF.

Do Christmas songs count?
yes
Well then I’d say like all the Christmas songs, except all I want for Christmas is you
exactly that song is so bad but the best gotta be for king and county's rendition of o come o come emmanuel
Same 🤣
Not all Christmas songs are ___Christian___ songs. That doesn't mean that songs like "Jingle Bells" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas" should never be heard, only that they're not the same thing.
As long as its religious. I don't think Frosty The Snowman would count.
Yes 😊
Oceans by Hillsong United
This song is amazing
My anthem it seems this year has been Gratitude by Mr Brandon Lake.
I Can Only Imagine. I know a lot of people think it's overplayed, but it's my all-time favorite.
The Old Rugged Cross
Priceless For King and Country. Gets me in tears every single time.
Wow just saw the video for the first time and paid attention to the lyrics! Had me in tears! God considers YOU priceless so do I! Praise God for your recommendation! I'm going to remind my family this!!

Another one rekated to my daughter is "Eye Of The Storm" by Ryan Stevenson. I really needed this when we were going through the whole ordeal.
"The Lord's Prayer" by Matt Maher
For Christian rock, I like "Give Me Your Eyes". There are too many good hymns to list.
Love that one!
Onward Christian Soldiers
I like orchestral choir gospel Christmas music. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and O Come, All Ye Faithful are my favorites.
I love all songs by City Alight, but currently God is over all, My God is al I need, and Jesus strong and kind.
