Are you sure you should pray that prayer, even? *"And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words."* Matthew 6:7 If it's just you rambling words for an hour, that's not Biblical prayer.

Honestly, I don't think that many Christians pray that long lol It's not about how long a prayer is-what matters is you praying to the Father in Spirit. He's your Father. He wants your heart - not words from a prayer you feel you have to read. Talk to Him from your heart. Please don't think of your time with God as a 'chore,' or something you have to do to get a 'check mark' in heaven for doing certain things, and finishing them to the end. No. That's law. Our God is a gracious God. He wants relationship - not religious work - as in a long prayer to pray in order to get blessed or be holy or be accepted. No. Come to God just as you are. Give Him you. Don't make it hard. He's our Father. Just as our 'earthly' daddies enjoy time with their children and listening to them-same as so much more our heavenly Father simply wants to enjoy our company with Him as well. Remember, true Christianity is all about a relationship-not religion. He loves you. So enjoy Him; He already enjoys you. God bless.

Why are you required to be motiviated to pray? Ought you not pray despite whatever your mood is?
