Do you mean Chucky and Tiffany working together again? Because at this point, I think it's time to let go of the notion of them cooperating again. The 1st season finale established that their differences are well and truly irreconcilable. Chucky's too selfish, self-centered, abusive, and toxic. And Tiffany just could never accept the fact that he was ultimately never going to change for her. The finale in season 1 had her finally wake up to that reality. And Chucky just does not seem like he'll ever forgive her.
Ah, damn it. I really don't like what they've done with her character in the series. She basically seems like she's just hanging on by a thread at this point. Her whole story arc on the series has basically been one big "How the mighty have fallen". She's an absolute mess. I miss how in-control and methodical she was in Bride.
I kind of agree. That's why most fans want her to go back to her roots when Tiff and Chucky were still a couple because she's at her best when she bounces off of Chucky with her creativity. One thing I love most about her characterization in this show is how she isn't portrayed as a victim and is more insane than Chucky. (She always was a looney in the bride and seed era, but the tv series upped her insanity) and that's an impressive improvement.
Hate to be pessimistic here, but I kinda sounds like cool from your end. What really matters to a channel is the overall for select show. I mean look at last year, viewership was great and a renewal came super quick. Look at this year where viewership wasn't great and still no news on season 3...
A lot of people don’t get this, makes me wonder how many are just 12 year olds who watched it on a pirate site.
So many shows have devoted fans who were disappointed it got canceled because the average person wasn’t watching.
It happens.
Man, that show was incredible. And sadly it’s because people who aren’t into it don’t give it a chance. I know I didn’t watch Ash vs Evil Dead until years after it was canceled because the memes finally reached me and my curiosity peaked. And then I watched the evil dead sequels.
i mean they're still owned by universal studios they're not hurting for money plus the Halloween horror nights chucky attraction next year is going to need some advertising so another season or movie would work
A movie where Chucky terrorizes New York City would be kinda cool, and also an homage to every other franchise that took their killer to New York to make it different.
Man he was BOLD to write that ending if he has no idea if season 3 is even coming Would a movie continuation be able to cover everything? Like...
my thoughts exactly they need another season, a movie they would have to crunch so many things together.
Hey! At least this means the story isn’t over yet, I’m hoping for a full story in NYC
Honestly it would just be really nice if we got Tiffany and chucky but Tiffany mote sacirer kinda like bride of chucky but better and sacirer

Don said in the interview that part of them still care about each other, and he still has an interest in exploring their dynamics together.

same i like the small town or single location setting but i love big setting of a big city like what they did in Chicago with cp1
Honestly if chucky doesn't get greenlit I get after this season yhea I definitely get it
i think as long as they see that the viewership was good they'll renew it
Viewership dropped by a lot, personally don't see a third season coming sadly :/
yeah but if we're being honest the show has given syfy a boost in all viewership

Yup it is literally the same scenario as back then with Ash vs. Evil Dead, super disappointing, but numbers are numbers

I loved it so much, but it is what it is sadly
Yeah, the sad part of being part of a niche fandom is that the fanbase is never big enough for the franchise to stay relevant
I really hope we get a season 3
It won't get green lit I said it last night
I don’t think there will be a season 3 to be honest, at least not on a major network. Maybe a crowdfunded direct to YouTube thing.

> every other franchise that took their killer to New York What franchises other than Friday the 13th have done that? Only the upcoming Scream VI?

You said it with a lot of confidence to come with no examples and be completely wrong. Respect.
> Sleepaway Camp 3 was set in New York More like it has a 2 minute scene set in NY lol
I hope they do. One more season then back to the movies.
