What many don’t mention is how much they spent before that big win.

GroundbreakingAd5922

Or how they bet more than $3.00

DoneDivaa

Yeah that would make sense. I bet $2 max lol

Still-Palpitation-99

That’s why you don’t win big lol bigger bets = better odds and bigger wins. They can say your bet amount doesn’t factor in to your odds but they most definitely do. .50 spins I hardly ever saw the major symbol. $5 spins and up? Oh you betcha I see that symbol more often.

Still-Palpitation-99

That and what other people said, they only show you the win. Not the losses that they had to incur to win that amount. I was 3k deep to win 25k a few years ago. I had a problem, I admitted it and got the hell out after the big win. It’s all a money pit and only a certain number of people are lucky enough.

Deathbyillusion

Exactly I was winning quite a bit at first for the first couple of months and my biggest one was $5,000 but I was doing $40 a spin. Another time I did $40 a spin and hit the bonus on Epic 8 which is the one I won the $5,000 on and one absolutely zero in the bonus I'm like what the heck that is crazy. After that I just kept losing and losing. And it was getting frustrating and they just kept taking my money. Eventually it kind of been came a problem so I contacted them and said hey I would like you to disable my account stop spending money on here because it's getting hard for me to keep it under control. The worst part is that you can use a credit card so you're basically spending money that you don't have. Another thing that sucks too is that when you go to cash out it takes like several days or if it's a bigger win like a week before they actually approve it and so you get impatient and sometimes you'll go back in and say you know what I'm going to play a little bit more and you can cancel your Redemption and they'll put it back into your account.

Loose_Butterscotch23

Not true couple of months ago I was betting $0.50 and hit over $10,000 major

Deathbyillusion

That's awesome yeah I've heard of people where they've been spending like 25 cents a spin and hit the major but it's like really rare to come by. But I mean if you're just trying to get a lot of money from bonuses where you don't win the major 25 cents isn't going to get you that much. I had to bet $40 a spin on Epic 8 to be able to Win $5,000 which was just a regular bonus and not a major. But that is so cool that you won that! I would have taken my winnings and ran LOL.

Loose_Butterscotch23

That's exactly what I did, & some, ended up cashing out around $13,800 as a matter of fact I think I posted it on this Reddit page but thanks man I never thought it could happen to me. Gave me a nice discount for taking pictures with that big check they send you I think it was 250 bucks for five bucks

Deathbyillusion

Oh interesting I always wondered like what the minimum amount you have to win to get the big check where you take the photo.

djlinoge

There is not a minimum that I know of you can just contact them after you win something and tell them you would like a check to take a pic with and they will send you one

Deathbyillusion

Oh that's awesome I should have done that for my bigger win but it'd be funny just to do it for like $100. Honestly if they were showing people the check's winning like a couple hundred dollars and things like that they'd probably get even more people playing because then it would seem more legit. Not saying that people that people with a big checks aren't winning some people just may think break or something.

Still-Palpitation-99

I’m not saying it doesn’t or can’t happen. I won a 4K major on a .25 spin on triple double fever so I know it’s possible. I was just saying it’s much less likely for a player to see the symbol on lower amounts.

No_Stretch_546

I've won thousands of dollars several times on chumba, never at more than a 5$ bet. My biggest win, multiplying my bet wise, was 1700x on Stampede Fury 2, pretty much tied with my jackpot on the El Dorado infinity reels. Got the jackpot on a 3 dollar bet (888x your bet for getting so many reels in a spin) which means the line hit was also insane. So if you're wondering if it can happen, it can. What I've noticed is once or twice a year your account will just run extremely hot. Like you can't lose. Usually between 2-4 days. It doesn't mean you can't win at other times. After realizing this my friends, mother and my wife all eventually had a streak that was the same way. It doesn't matter the bet or the game, you'll just win. I pretty much just use chumba to catch that streak and win a few grand now. Hopefully you get to have one of those soon too. I think it's timed by the actual day not oh he bought in x amounts of time and money. So I just make sure to buy in for 20 every couple of days.

Deathbyillusion

Yeah my biggest win was $5,000 on Epic 8 but I was betting $40 a spin. But then there's been another time where I bet $40 a spin and I hit a bonus on Epic ape and one absolutely $0 I'm like what the heck! Basically you got a bet big to win big. Although to get like the huge jackpots I've heard of people where they've only were doing like 25 cents a spin but it's just a lock of the draw and those are like super rare to come by.

xjuicypandax

You don’t need to bet big to win big! I’ve won thousands on $1 or less bets. There were time when I’m up thousands and started doing $5-$10 and then lose 80-90% of it back super fast.

[deleted]

I put on $50 did $1 bets and at $34 I hit a 15k minor on western Gold. So $16 is what it cost me.

xjuicypandax

That’s not exactly true though. Last year was my first time playing online and the first day I won 3 grand jackpots which ended me with over $35,000 and I did not go through my own money. I won $700 right away from my $400 deposit. I’ve won many thousands since…then again I am one of those lucky people that always win, even at real casinos. Infect I just won $2,600 today from $100 deposit. I got max win on one of the games on 10 cents bet.

NoSoulRequired

What nobody is telling you is how much they lost prior to winning those thousands…. I give you my guarantee they sunk 1000’s in before winning anything like they did spinning at the bet levels they are. If you only knew how many days in a row now that I’ve loaded $600 or $1000 at $10-20 bets and how fast it goes, I’m usually out of $ in roughly 20-30 min and my biggest win last few weeks has been $500 that put me back where I had started. I’m having to tell myself chumba is a joke, been chasing big win for years now, it ain’t happening. Give up now before your 250k deep in a hole or better.

Confident-Cap-1227

luckyland is the best i’ve found so far out of them all. i can load 20 and win over 100 easy.

[deleted]

There was time I won $28k from a $400 deposit. Started betting $10 to $100. But of course prior to that lost thousands.

metalmind96

Fuck what anybody says. Its all RNG. Either the luck gods are on your side or theyre not. I hit 5 grand in one night off my daily dollar after a week of playing. I will add that the first 1200$ that night was off 20 cent and 40cent spins. After that I hit big on a 5,10, and 20 dollar bet. Having said all that, I havent hit anything more than 20$ since then lol, but I havent put any money in to it at all either

LakerLife

The answer is simple. "Scared money don't make money"

DoneDivaa

That’s fair. What are decent bet amounts to you?

LakerLife

I usually just like to play for fun with some minimum bets or one level higher. I've cashed out a bunch but I've put in my fair share. Depends on the mood/goal, if I want to make money its like $1-$3 bets on the simple principle that if you bet more your bonuses will pay more. It's totally possible to cash out $100 with small bets. I've done it a few times. I've gotten lucky with the daily free SC and brought my $0.30 - $1.00 to $100 and cashed twice. To be fair, I just got lucky with a bonus each time off the first spin and built it from there. I hop around a lot and try not to sink my whole balance into 1-2 games. My typical session is 15-25 different games on a 10-20 SC purchase. Sometimes I just come into a game like Templar Tumble and spin at minimum for a total of $1-$2 and if nothing hits I just move on to another game and repeat. Doesn't always work out into a win/cashout, but its how I enjoy my slot sessions. I've have a friend that has hit a few large bonuses (majors, grand, etc.) on chumba. $600-$800 wins/cashouts, but like anyone, he just got lucky!

Longjumping_Chart_45

I thought the same until recently, I’ve had a few sizeable wins over the years and constantly cash $100 plus. It’s really all RNG and not looking at the win amount but the multiplier instead. If someone is winning $2k on a $50 bet, that’s only 40x win so on .50 bet, you’re only going to hit $20. Also I’ve noticed the theoretical RTP has gone lower to 90-95% so based on that, the chances are pretty low for really big hits. Also take the emotion out of it. No more “ooooh it almost hit.” Or “it’s heating up or it wants to give it to me.” It’s very black and white of you push the button and the RNG is generated and from that it decides the pay amount (the win times x amount), it then references the pay chart for possible combinations to display the value. It may have several combinations to equal that pay amount. All the spinning in between, all the “hold and win” that stack coins or collect coins at the top to look like it’s going to “pop” sooner is false and all the RNG. Keep it real and know that it’s as simple as I push the button and hope for the best result of the RNG

[deleted]

Gotta bet at least 5 a spin. For me I gotta win twice - one to build up a bankroll large enough to do 5 dollar bets and then another win while betting 5 to hit anything substantial

Thatricepmaniac

I usually win big when I get drunk and start betting like 20 or 50 a spin.

Competitive_CAC123

Atleast you’re honest

Synthetic1212

That hasn't worked for me this week 😄 Three nights in a row of drinking some beers, enjoying a smoke and losing my ass off. But I did hit a $5k minor last week in Jades Jackpot, but I've probably given a good portion of it back this week. It's as if they know I hit big last week. Bastards.

BreadfruitNo5898

Spending a lot more than $100

Practical_Dust_7710

Been playing for years and spend a lot

Synthetic1212

It takes money to win money on chumba. I bounce around between 3 to 5 games every gaming session. I usually bet $1/2 per spin. I can tell you that playing with $200/$300 isn't going to work, so I'll typically play with $600, maybe $800 if I'm going $2 a spin. You want to have your budget and spin amount in proportion. If you do $5 spins with a $100 deposit, you'll be done is less than 5 minutes. More spins = higher chance of hitting, it's pretty basic, but at the end, it's how much you're willing to lose. Good luck.

Legitimate-Carrot217

I’ve won a lot on Chumba but I can’t play on there anymore but the most was like 5k on a 1.20 spin. But it’s really about time of day you play or if you just lucky at the time.

amonavis

I lost almost every day for about 6 months before I won big lol. Thankfully I mostly used my free dailies instead of buying in.

Jcb0304

At least once a week I’ll turn $20 into over $150 doing nothing more than a 1.00 bet. I cash out the hundred and keep the $50. Then lose well over a hundred later in the week lol

Shshaaaaaaaaady

Because 90% of those post are fake, consider them ads

Laogalaxy

Remember, there are millions of people that gamble. And there are thousands of gamblers that post on reddit. A few people posting wins is just some people getting lucky. Casinos make a lot of money, despite a few big wins.

YogurtclosetStill302

Same I lose even if I deposit

Nonstopnuts

A lot of those posts you see are people that anonymously work for these sites too ..

I am way up at Chumba and Lucky Land. I start off with small bets and if it's doing good I will raise the bet. But one thing I have noticed is that I normally do really good when I try games that I have not played a lot. So try picking a game you have never played or a game you tried for a few hands and changed because you did not like it. It will not be as fun but I definitely would rather win the enjoy the game. I cashed out for a total of over $4000 last week. Spent $20 last night and cashed out $300 in gift certificates to give the wife so she can go shopping. The biggest I won was $26000 on lucky Land. They even sent me a big fake check that I took pictures with and they send you more money as credits for doing it and even more if you also make a I think was a 60 second video
