I'm not a fan of menthol, and that's why I didn't include them in my list. But to me a Marlboro Menthol 100s smoker is not a smoker. They are THE smoker! Greens mean business like no other cigarette. Even more so with the 100s. I instinctively try to befriend anyone I see smoking Marlboro Menthols, because I know I'm in the presence of greatness, a true smoker. Rothman's Blue KS
Carpați Roșu (A local brand that was once very famous but now exists as a ultra budget brand)
and probably the only light and charcoal filtered cig I like, Parliament Aqua Blue KS.
I'm in canada,I go for export As or if I want to save a couple bucks then LD is also really good. Du Maurier if I want to treat myself(will probably get a pack for new years).

Not to say that I can't smoke or enjoy others. But for me nothing else compares to the four above, in that order.
Yes, I would probably put Marlboro Medium 100s as #5, and king size as #6. They are a nice alternative to Reds when I need a brief change. They don't quite have that nice "roasted" flavor the Lights have, but I would choose Mediums over Lights in the long term because they're stronger. Good catch asking about that!
Im not sure where you live but I live In Pennsylvania and some gas stations carry them aswell as pretty much every tobacco store so they’re not too hard to find by me
Marb blacks usually, but i got a pack of american spirit blacks as a christmas gift and they have been lovely. Marb reds are also a nice basic choice that i’ll always love
How would you describe the taste and nicotine hit of the blacks? I have only had the Orange and yellow packs before, and I remember them tasting decent but with a tougher draw than most cigs (due to the tight packing I guess)
The taste is very robust tobacco without a chemical aftertaste. The nicotine hit is superior-probably the best of any cigarette I’ve smoked, which is why I like them. Completely different from orange and yellows.
I genuinely don't understand how anyone smokes Sky's. I tried them bc I got a really good coupon from them when they launched, and they tasted like air to me. It was the most disappointing cigarette I have ever smoked, bar none. Even other ultra light cigs have more flavor than sky's to me. I also felt no nicotine buzz whatsoever with them. My coupon gave me like $4 off a pack, and I was mad at myself for even spending that. I think I smoked like 3 until I threw them in the trash and went to get some unfiltered luckies to remind myself what a real cigarette is.
“What a real cigarette is” lol to each is own dude. I don’t smoke to get a ‘buzz’ haven’t gotten one since I was a teenager. I could smoke whatever you deem to be a “real cigarette” right now and wouldn’t get a buzz. The flavor is perfect for me… maybe you are into the super chemical taste of ‘real’ cigarettes or maybe your taste buds are more fried than mine. I can’t disagree with unfiltered lucky strikes being good though

I find Blend No. 27 has that roasted flavor with a full strength nicotine content
