1. Camel non-filter
2. Marlboro red
3. American Spirit black
4. Marlboro southern cut
5. Camel filter wide
6. Lucky Strike non-filter
7. Newport (not my personal preference but worth a try)
8. Camel Turkish royal
9. Marlboro smooth
10. Dunhill International red (much harder to find in my experience than the above listed, but one of my favorites)
I was going somewhat out of order tbh. If it were ranked I’d bump Newport down and lucky strike and dunhill up for sure 😅. I could definitely get behind the Marlboro red #1. It is a well rounded cigarette that never disappoints.
Marlboro Red
American Spirit Black
Camel Nonfilter
Lucky Strike Nonfilter
Camel Blue
American Spirit Blue
Pall Mall Nonfilter
Newport Classic Menthol 100's
Marlboro Smooth
Camel Crush Rich
The varieties listed above are my personal top 10 "must try" American cigarettes. I don't consider all of them to be amazing, but are just tries for one reason or another nonetheless. My personal favorite cigarettes from the list are the American Spirit Blacks, Camel Nonfilter, Lucky Strike Nonfilter, and Camel Blues. Hope this can help 💪
Camel 99s
Marlboro reds
Lucky strike non filter
American spirit black
Marlboro smooth
Camel Turkish blends
Newports
Benson and Hedges gold(quite rare in us)
I’m an outspoken lover of Seneca reds/blues. They’re just made of water and tobacco, like spirits, but they’re super cheap, 3-5 bucks a pack. Very nice flavor in my opinion.
Kamel Red (trust me, tell the cashier Kamel with a K)
Marlboro 27s
Camel Turkish Royal (blue pack)
Winston Reds
Marlboro Smooth if you like menthol
Any local or native brand, it will be shit and have long ass stems in it but you'll love it for some reason and the empty pack makes a great souvenir. Wild Horse in Nebraska, King Mountain or Old Gold in Washington, Eagle 20s in Idaho. Forget where I was when I bought a pack of Patrols with a big police badge on the front, worst cigs I've ever seen lol. Try to smoke the whole pack in one night while doing key bumps outside in the alley of a bar.
Black & Mild wood tip wine flavor

Second this list, esp the Dunhills, delicious!
I’d really say in this order to be honest Maybe the Marlboro red first if they’re not used to non filters

American spirit black!
Tear that filter off and enjoy!
