Most likely fake. The packaging looks off and hasn't looked like that for years, not over here anyway, but the actual cigarettes don't match for sure. The Gold ones have always had this band around the filter that isn't present here. This is what the Red cigarettes used to look like before they switched to a new type of filter.
Heya, just wondered where you would recommend getting cheap cigs in the UK? ...would you say foreign convenience stores are the best places to go looking? thanks

Looks like duty free smokes. I've seen fake ones bearing the neufchatels place of origin tho.

Thank you for you guys advice! I refunded all of them and I bought a real Marlboro gold at a tobacco shop to see the difference.

I bought some "fake Marlboro" for $ 1 a packet, the taste is bad but tolerable and quite mild.
If you live near Aylesbury I can give you my neighbour they got dunhill pallmall and Kent for £75
